Not sure why anyone would want one when one can get the hybrid AWD now unless to save a few grand. That few grand savings would evaporate pretty fast with the difference in gas mileage to boot. Just my opinion though.
Hybrid drivetrain standard.

The EB is better for towing in my situation. The hybrid AWD is rated 191 hp and 155 ft pounds torque. The EB is rated 238 hp (or maybe 250 hp) and 274 ft pounds torque.

Interesting. So if you're running 93 octane what would the horsepower be?
If you dudes want to go “FAST”, why in hell did you buy a 4 banger truck? Just get a Hemi Challenger 70’s ish or a 427 69 Camaro from Mecum, Jeez!

I never said I want to go fast. I run 87 octane.

The issue is that Ford does not publish combined torque output for the hybrid drivetrain.

I am not arguing that the hybrid drivetrain is better for towing but the paltry 155 lb ft of torque is just from the 2.5L Atkinson cycle 4 cylinder and not the electric motor which provides max torque on throttle input.

I plan to tow a camping trailer that will weigh around 3200-3400 lbs and I do not have a worry in the world that the Hybrid drivetrain won't handle it. It won't be the fastest, it won't be the most efficient - but it will be plenty capable.

I've never driven a Ford truck that hasn't been able to tow it's rating (or more) and that has spanned more than 25 years of driving F-series trucks and vans.

It's not the truck, 100 octane and you'd get the same result lugging the engine driving that way. No different than driving a manual.
I'm not the one lugging the engine. The trans decides what gear it wants. Some have suggested to just give it the gas to raise RPM's but that is not always the best thing given traffic situations.

Contrary to your opinion, running 91 Octane does help the situation quite a bit actually. YMMV.

Thank you for this clarification. I thought the 155 figure was low for the hybrid AWD.

It is likely that the hybrid displays a much lower peak torque curve but one that is flatter and more immediate - but is also dependent on the charge of the 1.1kwh battery which is why Ford cannot publish a combined figure.

Yes, in very hilly/mountainous terrain I can see the EB having that advantage. Personally I'd only tow with 3,200lbs max including all gear, passengers etc either way though. Towing is harder on any transmission and overall system to various degrees.
