After 3 weeks and a 1000 miles I'm loving this truck. It's the base model XLT with the tow hitch option. MPG average so far is 41.9.

Here's what I added to the Maverick

Leather steering wheel cover. Poly wheel was just to slick. It's a fat steering wheel now but much better to grip. Amazon 27 bucks

Tray for the center console. Amazon 17 bucks. It's a tray and fits.

Front and rear rubber floor mats. Amazon 85 bucks. More complete protection than Fords

3 fold soft bed cover. Amazon 192 bucks. Excellent quality

Bed mat. Amazon 84 bucks. Very nice quality

Pleather Seat covers. Amazon 180 bucks with 40 dollar off coupon. How can they make them this nice that cheap.

Replaced cabin rearview mirror. Hyundai dealer 40 bucks shipped. Homelink, auto dimming, compass. Harness for install. Ebay 40 bucks

Replace the fender trim pieces with ones with running lights/turn signals. Amazon 67 bucks

732 bucks total

Everything but the seat covers were easy. What a royal PITA but they look like factory.
Took longer to program the mirror than to install. Super easy
Tri fold cover. After a short look it was an easy install.
Running lights. Easy but need to be careful taking off. There was no cutting of the wires. Had thin bayonet fittings on the end that slide in next to the wire. Clever way to do it. Needs a spot of hot glue to hold in place.

They were all budget items but all are good quality especially the seat covers.

Cut out holes in the bed mat for the front tie downs then made coasters out of them with a little foam to absorb liquid

X 2 Lot better with pictures of your truck. Other than that hello and welcome to MTC. Also congratulations with your new Maverick. Would have loved to have seen some pictures of your new truck though, maybe next time.

Congrats on the new truck. Do you have any links to the following you mentioned?

Floor mats Amazon $85. When you say more complete protection that Ford in what way? Do they go up higher on the sides?

3 fold soft bed cover. Link to it as well?
