Even though my goal is 11s full weight, I know that’s going to require more fuel, better air, and a more aggressive tune. So I figured I’d drop some weight and see what happens. Pulled the passenger seat, rear bench, and the dual sub box. DA was around 3800 and 72 degrees.

Only got one run because my intercooler coupler popped off. At a glance a saw 23 psi on gauge. Still not where I want to be but she moves out. I tried launching at 6-7 psi with launch controller but the tire spin negates any advantage. I just got it working so I’ll have to find the sweet spot. Dueces and I have hit a few sub 2 60 RTs but a 1.7-1.8 would be fantastic. The quest for 11s continues.

Holy Crap! 3800DA and still 112mph is freaking fantastic! I have never seen DA so high with 70 degree temps, must be humid as all hell! You'll get 11's soon!

I wish! Back in my Corvette days, all the stock 11 second C5Zs were at MIR.

Falken Pro CSV 235/60/18. Hardly a performance tire, the tread wear is 500 iirc.

I remember well back in the early 80’s how frustrating it was to get my high 14 sec 1970, 351 Cleveland 4bbl Cougar into the 13’s. And if I remember correctly, a tenth of a second was a car length. Back then a lower set of gears was your best bang the buck.

Put some sticky rubber on there and launch at 10-12#.

I run treadwear 100 Drag Radials on my Mustang. The only thing that hooks!
