Got a great DA this morning. I didn't run the 1/4 mile, but it would be around a 13.88-13.92 with that 0-60.

That's fantastic performance, what did you get 0-60 & 1/4 mile time before you did any mods? I managed a 14.6 at the track with no mods, the time slips don't give a 0-60 times.

I was running 6.3-6.5 stock on the same tires. 14.6 is a great time bone stock, especially not being AWD. Were you spinning off the line? What was your 60' time?

Very nice! I'm working with 5 star right now to hopefully get something going for the launching of my Mav. That DA is freaking awesome! My best is still 5.68 seconds with 91 octane tune and 1700' DA.

I should try again here soon with the good weather we have been having. May be able to get down just a touch lower....

That’s moving for a baby truck. I can’t wait to see what these will do with bigger turbos.

The tires only chirped for a split second when the turbo kicked in, except for the last run, I removed the air intake elbow from the air filter box, that run was my best, only by .05 but I had tires squealing for about 2 seconds, I was surprised by that with the sticky track, & that run my 60ft time was 2.20, my best 60ft times in my runs were 2.18 a couple times. I may do a tune after warranty or try a piggyback box & see if any of the air intakes on the market help, I think a 14 flat or even a high 13 is doable, I think I could even do a bit better with it stock, but new to me is throttleing up a turbo at the starting line & they don't give you more than a couple seconds after stageing to do it. It's quick enough as it is, but us guys always try for a little more, main thing I don't want do anything that could compromise warranty.

I've found that quick blip to 1800-2200 is best. I've tried building to 2500 and it's the same. The truck won't build boost even with a tune. It builds and quickly comes back down so until someone incorporates it in the tune, you're best from 1800-2k. Even my 60' times with a tune are 2.17-2.18. Maybe with a custom tune it would be better, but I want to stick with the safe adaptive tune until warranty is over.

Torque management sounds like a limiting factor. The 60' should be 2 or 3 tenths better for 14 second quarters. I'm waiting for someone to address this in the tune and remove the top speed limiter.

You're exactly right. I'm sure someone will figure it out soon. I think a 2.05 or better isn't out of the question.

There is no reason we shouldn't be down in the 1.8 60' times. Sport Mode puts torque 50/50 with AWD. It's 100% the torque management holding back power until the truck has rolled out. I asked 5 Star about this on Friday and they said SCT doesn't have the parameters to modify this yet. Hopefully it's being worked on.

Side note, did a couple dragy passes last night with a 500ft DA, and ran 5.51 and 5.52 0-60. Still the shitty 2.15 60'. I run in Sport Mode and in Low, with traction control off, but never spin...

Still pretty impressive 60 ft times considering stock WRX's are only running 2.0 with more advertised HP and less weight.

I ran a 5.58 this am in a +350. The 60' was a 2.14. Better but not great. Did you see David Buschur ran a 13.5 last night? 2.01 60' times. No details yet that I saw.
I'm going to try some runs in normal mode and go off of idle tomorrow am. I've been going in sport and 1500-2k.

I saw 13.6X at one point yesterday. However, one thing I will say about our 60' in comparison to the track, is every time I did a dragy run, and a quarter mile drag pass, the 60' at the track was .08ish better at the track. So, I've gone 2.12 as my best, there is a possibility that it's actually around 2.04....

Another thing to remember, is that Buscher is doing his own tuning, and has access to stuff 99.999% of us don't. It is great to see the times getting down for sure, and hopefully he paves the way for 12 second passes! I don't see it on the factory turbo, but a larger turbo or a small shot of nitrous would do it!
