I placed an order for a 2024 in early August, before x-plan pricing had yet been released for 2024s. The sales manager on duty at the time claimed she was not familiar with the ordering process with Ford, took down my order information by hand to pass along to a different person to place the order later, and gave me back a signed piece of paper stating that they would "honor x-plan pricing". My truck went into production last week, and I now have the window sticker, which does NOT reflect x-plan pricing, in either the price or the code in the item # section at the bottom.

Is it too late to ask the dealer to modify the order to reflect x-plan? My concern is that they will "honor x-plan pricing" on the base MSRP of the vehicle, but not on the options, and will charge the full normal doc fee. The dealer appears to be generally reputable based on past posts on here, but now I'm questioning it.

I payed D plan price. My window sticker shows MSRP. What code should I see in my Item # ? I have 72- then my order # and then O/T 1.

My ā€˜23 window sticker didn’t reflect X-plan or 2022 price match (I ordered in ā€˜22) discounts, but I had gotten them. I don’t think the window sticker is meant to show adjustments. It’s just the ā€œas-builtā€ pricing.

My understanding was that it should show "O/T X" in my case, but maybe that is not correct. I am no expert myself.

Mine didn't have it listed on the item # even though my DORA did - and they still honored it.

Both my 2023 (delivered) and my 2024 (en route) show O/T X on the window stickers, but I know that there have been reports here that some have gotten their A X Z D plan purchases properly without the plan type being reflected on the WS. The pricing on the WS is just MSRP anyway. Hopefully your dealer just didn't tic the right O/T box and all works smoothly for you.

Plenty of examples of window stickers showing "O/T X". Not sure why some do and some don't, the only thing I can think is that dealers somehow have more flexibility by entering the order as "retail" and then granting the x-plan price at time of sale.

I bought using Ford A-plan.

My window sticker had no indication anywhere that I am aware of that showed that fact.

A/X/D Plan doesn't appear on the sticker, and the pricing is adjusted when the dealer inputs the appropriate code into their system at time of sale. The system based on the code input then automatically adjusts the pricing to Ford's A/X/D pricing.

The original ordering entity, through the original dealer on any rollover should offer the 'price protection' or 'private offer', which appears on a separate line item AFTER the A/X/D pricing adjustment. (If Farm or other discounts are applicable, they'll appear after those adjustments).

If you're re-order was a different dealer, or under a different name/ID (say relative) the private offer doesn't show up as an FYI, both the original and rollover order need to be under the same name. The dealer when placing the rollover order was supposed to tie the reorder to the original order, there was a procedure outlined by Ford to accomplish this. Unfortunately if they failed to do that process, the private order might be appear.

Thankfully the dealership my brother works at knew the process and what they needed to do for a seamless or painless rollover, as well as private offer when mine rolled form '22 to '23.

Just for kicks, look and see if yours has an A here.

Mine was D-Plan (same pricing as A-Plan) and shows /O/T 1 in that area). That area is actually the shipping information from when it leaves the plan. You're truck apparently left by CONVOY as opposed to RAIL.

I don't believe the signed order sheets even show A/D/X Plan Pricing, they also show MSRP.
