Assuming that I wasn't scheduled for Aug 21 and got passed up in the final round-

No. If Ford won't build an order that they could (XLT EB with no constraints for me), then there's no reason to stick around as there are other options that fit my needs that are available. While I prefer the Maverick, I can make other vehicles work.

I'm only as loyal to Ford as they are to me.

I was just wondering if any of y’all would cancel your unbuilt ‘23 Maverick if you got a guarantee of a delivered ‘24, even though the ‘24 would include price increases. In other words, would you rather have a 23 in hand, or wait another few months for a newer model year?
if you wait another few months after the initial few months, you can get a 2025MY!!

If I knew that it wouldn't change my place in line, yes. Mainly because the MY24 Lariat comes will all the things I added to my MY23 Lariat plus a few extras I would have liked on my MY23.

But this is hypothetical as my truck is en route to the dealership.

There is NO "guaranteed MY 24" unless you buy off a dealer lot sometime next year with a dealer mark up.
