Sorry guys, just backed out of garage with button pressed and get a bell sound until I put it in drive. Could it be my truck is wired wrong? That's the first time I ever heard that bell warning.

ON warning off nothing

The button does look like it has sound waves going outward.

The truck had a backup warning chime on all the time when in reverse and the button is for auto brake hold to keep from rolling after a stop.

Even when my Maverick arrives in 2027, it is sounding way more complicated to drive than needed. Heck, I have never even had an ATM card. Anybody know how to put the dashboard from the original Maverick into this one. I am going to put orange tape over everything except the heat, air conditioner, and radio knobs. Throw a bandana over that stupid video screen.

these are play and pause icons, been the same for decades, on every 8 track, cassette, CD player, DVD Player that I can remember.

Dang, I thought they were for go and stop. So are they on opposite sides of the gate to the swing set at the park?

That is what I was thinking it was. I was wondering why my truck would stop rolling forward whenever I would use it to wave at people. (At least that is what I would have said if ford would just build my truck!)

The button turns on and off the Pedestrian Warning System. I could not figure that out by the icon.

On a 5,000 trip and learned something about the steering wheel buttons I did not know. By simply pressing down or up on the OK button it scrolls thru the Menu options, so you can see tire pressure, music playing name, etc...never knew it until today....

Still feel the Menu setup options are not at all intutive.
Got a notice that a tire was under inflated today and literally had to pull off the road to scroll thru menu setting to see if any other tires were underinflated....30 days ago all were 35lb today after cooler weather they were all from 25 to 29 lbs

Just don't do anything with the MyKey settings, they did warn me about that at the dealership

Auto Hold does apply the brakes and hold them, but only after you bring the vehicle to a complete stop.

Pressing the button while moving just turns the system on, so that it functions when next you stop.

See this description in the manual at p. 198. My experience with it tracks what the manual says.

Will probably never use Auto Hold. I can just imagine being stopped, taking my foot off the brake, and for some reason the system fails and I smack the car in front of me because I also hate the engine auto stop/start and disable it. Stopped? Engine stays running and I keep my foot on the brake. Old school style.
