Just a heads up that the Moto MA1 wireless Android Auto adapter is on sale for $70 at Amazon.

Mine has been flawless since January.

That is a good deal. I have been very happy with mine (which I paid full price for over a year ago).

Thx for the head's up on the sale - just bought one (had been eyeing them on occasion over the past 18 months)!

I'll have to try that one, as the "Ossyl" device is totally worthless. Same price, too.

I am about to pull the trigger on one of these myself, but I have a question about the dongle. Can you unplug that cord from the back of the device, or is it hardwired in? If you can unplug it, what kind of a USB is on the end of it?

I want to buy an angled cable so I can have some playroom to hide it, but if I can't get a cord, I will have to buy an adapter...

The cable is hardwired into the device. I purchased one in July of '22 and it works pretty good. Not perfect but reliable enough that I've kept using it.

I actually switched over to an AA wireless adapter that a friend gave me. It works just as well as the MA1 worked, and I can switch between my iPhone and Android phone. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The cord on it does unplug.
There's a new model coming out soon, but I'm not sure what we will be different on it. This one does everything I need it to.

Yep. Still a good option, but I'd spend the extra $15 now for the AAWireless.
Supports firmware updates, unlike the Moto.

AAWireless also has a developer mode that allows you to run third-party apps Google is blocking, like AATorque and Fermata Auto.

I have the original that supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
