Hey maverick owners I have been spending way too much time cleaning my glass it never gets clean. I have purchased several products and did some cocktail cleaner hacks and so far nothing 🤔.this is silly but it worked so good y’all I had to share. I made my own cocktail 3 parts white vinegar and 1 part windex and a clean open cell sponge 🧽 . I sprayed the sponge and I split the windshield in 3 sections applied and dried each section and then did the same on the (cover dash)inside and OMG the glass is crystal clear clean!!! 👏👍

I simply use a microfiber cloth that that's it. If outside is kind of to dirty or with water residues then I use clay and is like new once again.

If your Windex contains ammonia then you've just canceled out the cleaning effects. Ammonia and acetic acid make ammonium acetate so you could be leaving a nice salt residue on your window if you don't wipe it off well. Honestly, the key to cleaning windows and leaving a nice streak free surface is not in your choice of cleaner but rather your choice of towel/cloth to wipe off said cleaner. Get a good waffle weave towel and you can literally use water to clean your windows.

I hear ya! I have found that almost every commercial cleaner leaves a residue and I needed something that would remove water spots. Turns out regular food vinegar and water worked best for me. No residue and it instantly removed the water spots. For tougher dirt, I employ one of those netted sponges and then wipe dry with a micro cloth.

My go to stuff, and a microfiber. Two bottles for under $9 on Amazon.

When my windshield is really dirty I do it twice with two separate microfibers.

Mix of 50% water and 50% high percentage (preferably 99%) IPA in a spray bottle. No...not Imperial Pale Ale! Isopropyl Alcohol.

The water is essentially just a carrier for the IPA and keeps it from immediately evaporating.

Good microfiber cloth, preferably waffle weave/knit. The IPA evaporates, you wipe any water that doesn't evaporate (along with the crap from your glass), no residue left over.

I use that stuff on all the truck's glass and interior window film, which it is safe to use on. Also use it for cleaning light scuff marks off the doors and door frames. Perfectly clean glass.
Amazon or Walmart in the auto section.

Here's another option that works great and is safe on tint.
I saw a YouTube video about using WD-40 for cleaning your windows. Just spray a tiny bit on the window and wipe it clean. It's supposed to work great and not leave the window oily. Anybody tried this?

I am assuming this involves the interior surfaces of glass. The windshield surface is above the dash, which is plastic. And when sun heats the dash, it releases, out gas chemical, leaves a film on the windshield interior surface. And difficult to remove.
