Anyone have issues with window regulators?

My windows have always been a bit flakey. The passenger windows (all 3) would intermittently stop when rolling up and down, but have always been able to completely close/open by letting go and pressing the button again until yesterday.

I rolled the passagner rear window down, and it wouldn’t go back up. There was a click in the door when I would try, but no glass moving. I took it to the dealership today and they said it needs a new regulator. They put me in a rental and said it would be finished tomorrow.

Anyone else have issues? There is a thread this forum (https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...stuck-down-quick-fix.35074/page-2#post-852338) about the drivers door switch being the culprit, but I’m going to let the dealership do their thing and trust their diagnostics.

My passenger front window when you put it into auto up it will go to the top and come back down 3/4 of the way down. In order for me to close the window I have to raise it close to the top, stop with the button and then raise it to completely close the window. Sometimes a inch or so at a time.

Do you by chance have in channel deflectors?

I have the common rear passenger window stuck down issue. FoMoCo has asked for my info. Local dealer gave me a July 30th appointment. 2 months from now. Crazy.

I was going to mention the "drivers door switch being the culprit" thing, but I see you already found that. Let us know if this is another case of that, since it adds to the pile/trend of drivers controls seemingly being somewhat faulty on the Mav. I don't know if I have seen anyone post that it WASN'T the drivers door controller that went bad.

This was my concern also. I haven’t mentioned any research I’ve done to the dealership. I’ll let them try to figure it out, if it’s not finished tomorrow I’ll call and talk to the service advisor.
