Window Switch and Regulator Replacement

When trying to lower the window. My left rear window is making a grinding noise from both the master and rear left window switches. Searching around is looks like I need to replace both the master switch and regulator?

Anyone tried this Updated Steel Window Regulator Kit? Cost more than OEM but would rather not have this problem again. Or should I just get OEM window regulator and hope the newer parts fixed the issue.

I'm at 41k miles so no more factory warranty.

Searching around the forum, some members report that the driver switch can be defective. Sending too much voltage and burns though motors and regulators. I just rather not buy a new one just to have it fail soon again.

Before jumping to replacing parts I would get a multimeter and actually verify the voltage coming through.
