In the last 60 days, I have destroyed 2 window regulators on the same window (driver side rear). What's up with that? Could I be getting an over-amperage causing the motor to over-torque?
Is there a up limit switch to stop it at the upper limit that needs an adjustment?
Or is it just poor quality plastic gearing? It will roll-up and just start grinding the plastic gears.
Thoughts?

It will roll-up and just start grinding the plastic gears.
The window closes and then hear the grinding sound?
Like the motor is still powered and trying to move the window?

XLT trim the window motor 12V power comes directly from the door switches.
