Not a fan of the diesel boys when they roll coal on me whether in the Maverick or on the bike. But I do chuckle as the excess fuel washes the oil film off the cylinder walls thus ensuring rapid ring wear and piston scuff.
Yeah, those are the same guys who never grew up. If they are teenagers, I can understand it to an extent, but when you see adults like that, it's sad. They're the same guys who think not caring about any one or anything else makes them more of a man.

im definitely not sad about choosing eco boost with all the hybrids sleep mode annoyances
No need to explain, Jeff. I was just being sarcastic. I just like to mess around with eco-guzzler owners because they tend to be very hypersensitive.

Anyways, people should choose whatever they want/like and most importantly, whatever fills their personal needs. It doesn't matter if it's ICE, hybrid, PHEV or full EV. We all have different tastes and needs.

What matters is that we enjoy our vehicles, reflect on the memories we had in them and drive them until the wheels fall off.

(The eco-guzzler owners will have plenty of memorable moments of taking it in for service or breaking down on the side of the road... JK! 😂)

I still haven't gotten one yet. The problem is it depends what I'm doing for which one I want. I know for my local suburban driving I would probably be better off with the hybrid specifically because of the mileage. I also think in the long term it's probably going to be more dependable, at least the engine Anyway. You know with the carbon deposits and DI. Also turbos are one more thing that's strain an engine. Flip side is obviously I would enjoy more power, AWD and the independent rear suspension with the EcoBoost
