Why no accesories ready to plug into the bed wiring?

I am capable of wiring up a couple of 12V sockets in the bed. I just got done doing a whole bunch of soldering, adding Anderson Power Poles to some ham radio stuff. I just wish I could order the stuff for my Maverick pre-wired... it would be so convenient.

I'm hoping this thread will inspire some young entrepreneur.

Just want to say it isn't hard & encourage others to try it if it works for them. Even if someone makes appliances that use the FORD connection, I doubt the variety offered would match the 12v plug in.

I might even be able to tackle this but a pre-built pig tail would be convenient.

I see he ignored the little panel to the right of the big panel. One on each side. My car came with an LED light on the left side of the bed and a storage compartment on the right. I was thinking of just putting a pair of cig lighters on each side. Can always plug a USB port into a cig plug.

Mine was in a plastic bag under the rear seat along with a front license plate bracket and maybe some paperwork or the manual?

The early marketing for the Maverick emphasized it as a "maker's vehicle", which I think it is the contemporary term for a creative hobbyist.
The FITs slots, allowing for 3D-printed accessories, the bed features providing for homebuilt accessories, and the 12V pigtail were intended to easily facilitate that creativity.
