Just a general observation I've made. There's tons of new '25 Mavericks for sale in my area and around the country for that matter. However, I've noticed Lariats are extremely hard to come by, whether they be Ecoboost or Hybrid. Why is that? Is production of those limited? Is it just the hot commodity at the moment? Usually, it's the other way around. The most expensive trim is plentiful and the cheapest trims are up for grabs. Every dealer I go to, there's always XL and XLTs (maybe one Lobo in the mix) but no Lariats or Tremors. I guess people figure if they're gonna buy a Maverick, they might as well go all out.

Anyone else noticed this? Maybe it's a geographical thing? Another thing I've noticed, the 25s have been on sale the entire year so far and I barely see them on the roads to this day. I still see plenty of 22-24s. Usually as fleet vehicles or for personal use. That can be contributed to the price increases and controversial front end.

I think it's the dealers stocking the more afFORDable vehicles in these times of higher cost vehicles. They want something easier to sell. I'm sure plenty of Lariats are being ordered, but I think dealers are keeping their Lariat stock somewhat limited. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the dealer profit could actually be higher on a loaded XLT because the Lariat has most everything standard. I really have not checked these numbers lately so I might be wrong on this aspect.

I remember watching one of the Maverick technical walkthrough videos on youtube when I was buying where it was speculated (emphasis, speculated) that Ford may actually be losing money on the XL and XLT trims, so I doubt the profit is that good for the dealers.

For the OP though, the 25 MY has only been available to buy for what, like 7-8 months? I would say it's harder to find because it seems to me like it's the most popular trim for non-fleet / work vehicles that are mostly white XL hybrids.

I had two requirement:
  1. Towable behind my motorhome which has a 5K tow limit.
    • Maverick Hybrid can be Towed Four-Wheel-Down.
  2. It had to be Blue.
Over two months, I searched online the four local Dealers within 230 miles. I saw very few Blue Hybrid Mavericks online. I even test drove a gray XLT Hybrid.

I saw online:
  1. 2024 Blue Hybrid XLT FWD. 230 Miles away for 34K. (In Stock)
  2. 2025 Blue Hybrid XLT AWD. 37 Miles away for 36K. (In Stock)
  3. 2025 Blue Hybrid Lariat AWD. 37 Miles away for 38K. (available in 3-4 Weeks)
  4. 2025 Blue Hybrid Lariat AWD w/4K tow & BAP. 8 Miles away for 40K. (available in 3-4 Weeks)
My Blue (4) 2025 Maverick Lariat has 4K Towing & Black Appearance Package. Dealer website said it would be available in 3–4 Weeks. I went back to the Dealer & placed a deposit on it. Ten days later, I got a text to come in to test drive it. I drove it home May 1st.

I have watched to see if anymore Blue Hybrid Mavericks have come in since May. Only 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariats were in other colors like Gray or Sand.

I am happy with my 2025 Velocity Blue Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD.

Tremors have always been low production so their rarity isn't too surprising. If I had to guess for a potential reason, Ford got smart and started making most Lariats hybrid AWD, which is the most desirable powertrain combo right now.

It’s the little things with the Lariat that spoke to me.
One was the better soundproofing like the sound insulated Lariat windshield.
I still can’t get use to how quiet my cabin is,
Especially on the Interstate.
Plus the options, I felt like WTH I’ll get em all. Well most of them. I passed on the sunroof and 4k tow because I don’t tow much and I preferred my non 4k final drive ratio.

My "anecdata": I'm not seeing that many Mavs in the D.C. area-- unsurprising, in DC you get mostly foreign cars near the city, and brodozers out in the VA/MD 'burbs-- although I'm slowly seeing more Mavs this year than before, and many are 25s.

However, a month ago I was in western Penna for a long weekend, and you'd be forgiven for thinking Mavs grew on trees there. VERY healthy proportion were 25s, so that front end ain't *that* controversial.

People are buying Mavericks for "what it is", not what it looks like. It seems to me that the 25's have been built without most of the problems that the 22,-24's had. Changes have been made (less knobs etc) but overall, the upgrades are a plus.

Great looking truck.
How is it for towing flat behind the motor home?

Tim from Long McArthur said that when people look for the high end they generally order it exactly the way they want it. They found out that the lariat will sit more so than the XL / XLT.

That's if my memory holds up.=D Tim is the man when it comes to maverick info!

If you WANT a Lariat, you should have ordered one. I ordered my MY2025 Lariat Hybrid in late May. It’s at the dealer in Michigan now and I’m picking it up a week from tomorrow.

As for pricing, oh boy…Here’s a kicker. My 2023 Maverick Lariat had an MSRP of around $30K. My 2025 model, identically equipped, has risen to $40K, a 33% increase in two years. Lease payments went from $380 to $620, a 63% increase. Interest rates are down a point over that two year period. Not happy at all.

I ordered a Lariet last August and got it in early Jan.. Got everything but 4k towing and sunroof (waste of money is southern AZ).. Could not be happier with it.. Got the red with black package.. only thing I have done is pull the black stripes off the hood and add a auto dimming mirror..

Same at my dealership in TN. Few Lariat's around and selling as soon as they come in. Hybrid AWD are the hardest to find.
