That's the part # for the engine cover off of a 20-21 Escape and 19-20 Edge 2.0L Ecoboost with a Ford logo on the cover. Hoping that fits but not sure on the required bolts\studs and how many are needed.

Edit: here is a picture from a 2021 Escape ST-line with the actual cover

If it’s anything like my mustang, the cover just pops into place without needing any hardware. There are knobs on the bottom of the cover that pop into tab/holes already in place on the engine and accessories, mostly in the upper intake manifold.

Do we know for sure that there won't be a factory engine cover? I hadn't heard..

I'm surprised the 21 Escape 2.0 has the cover the 1.5 doesn't have one. I know on my 15 Escape 2.0 it pops onto ball sockets that stick up from engine.

Thinking about this more, is it due to cost-cutting that an engine cover isn’t stock or would it potentially rub the hood? Not sure what the clearance from the upper intake manifold/top of the engine is to the hood on a Maverick.

I know the engine cover on mine is fairly thick and raised up but the engine bay is designed to support up to a 5.8 liter supercharged V8 (Shelby gt500 engine) so it has plenty of room but it would definitely be tight if the center section of the hood wasn’t raised significantly stock.

It definitely needs something to hid the mess. I mean who wants to pop the top and see all the wiring and stuff? I sure don't. But I ordered the Hybrid so there is no telling if it will have something or there will be something available.

I’m positive it is 1- a cost cutting measure and 2- it wasn’t needed to meet noise regulations. It looks terrible though (at least all the pictures I have seen so far). I’ll gladly buy the cover of it cleans up the engine bay a bit.
Same w the under hood noise isolation mat.

Same engine in Focus ST with the air intake box in the same location and the air induction from intake to turbo so cover would be similar in size and shape. In this picture the air intake box and air induction has been modified with after market. This shows something 2.0L eb will be able to do.

Not sure if any bolts are involved.

A hood covers the engine, that's all I need. Don't care if it's pretty under the hood. I open the hood about once every two years, why do I care.
Exactamundo.

If I cared about my engine looking pretty I probably wouldn't be buying a 2.0t Ford pickup. An Alfa V6, Ferrari V12, Mclaren F1 V12, Lamborghini V12, Cosworth DFV, maybe, but not a pickup.
