Who received the 2024 confirmation from Ford?

I got the confirmation on Monday evening.. (the generic one with a 4 digit order code but no specifics on the order). I signed the Order Preview with the dealer (did by email, print, sign, scan, email)... and of course photos of the license for the COVP. However, I haven't actually seen the DORA that is returned back to the dealer from Ford as their response to how the Order was recorded. I also do not see the Order on My Ford Account.

Is it unusual for this to take a few days? Should I call Ford Support or the Dealer tomorrow to see what the actual Order Details are with Ford? I'm not impatient, I just want to make sure the process has moved forward correctly.

I have 2 order confirmation emails from Ford, but haven't gotten COVP or DORA docs from either dealer so far. Contacted one this afternoon, said the financing guy would be getting those over, implied they were buried in this process right now, but working on that. Crickets from the other dealer, who went radio dark mid-day Monday. Should I be worried about this part? This is my first year ordering, thought I was locked in but I'm not exactly understanding where these forms come into play, or what the differences are between those 2 acronyms I see mentioned here. DORA is just dealer confirmation with specs, and COVP is Ford acknowledging the same?

COVP approval goes to your dealer after Ford verifies the order as legit. Nothing comes to you from Ford on COVP. The order acknowledgment from Ford does NOT indicate COVP has been received and approved. My salesman back in 2021 sent me a picture of my COVP approval. Ford took 5 days to generate my approval back then...might take longer this time. Here is what it looked like:

I got my confirmation from Ford and also an email with the details of my build. They left off the Engine Block Heater so I checked the build print out they gave me at the dealership. The heater is on the dealership build list, but at the bottom, half obscured by the text footer.

As a curtesy, I will wait a little while until the mad scramble abates somewhat before I contact the rep at dealership to get the heater back on the build for Ford.

My 23 order as many others disappeared a few months ago for whatever reason. Ford chat said was was still good. Got converted Monday and I don't expect to see it there until I get a vin.

Finally got the email confirmation from ford last night after placing an order on Monday. Now whether my base XL with CP360 will actually get built before the 25MY production starts... who knows?

I received the notice on the 18th. I have no idea what the priority is.

I just received my confirmation email. I am going to make changes to my order but the dealership just entered my same order that I had for my 2023.I do have my same order number so I should get my private offer or incentive depending on what you call it. I was told by dealer that they were entering same orders as my 2023 then they will change it later. I guess that’s how Ford wants them to do so they can use the same order numbers to get the priority build for 2024.

Updating: The dealer that I hadn't heard from since order day just sent over the DORA,so I can breath a sign of relief on that part. Priority code 15 on that order. Still waiting on the other.

Hello all! Late to the game, but I received my initial confirmation Monday at a little after 5PM pacific time on Monday. Haven't seen any second confirmation that some people seem to be talking about.

Does anybody know if the order number/reservation number in that initial email has any bearing on precedence of your order (IE, your place in line)? Mine is a 3 digit number with an "A" at the end. Or is that just some placeholder till Ford confirms the reservation and issues a different order number or something?

I received my confirmation email, but it has a different order number then my '23 order... so now I'm worried they submitted a new order instead of classifying it as a rollover. Granted the email Ford sent to me never mentioned the order number needed to stay the same, just the name and dealer. So I don't know, my dealer said they would be doing to conversion with Ford.

My 22 rollover was the same as my 23 order, just added a moonroof.

There have been posts about priority codes. My 22 was "12" and the 23 was "19" code. Both were Hybrid lariat luxury and both were built in about 10 months.
