Who received the 2024 confirmation from Ford?

My sales guy just put in my order today and got my email from Ford. Was not really thinking about ordering one but I figured why not I like my sisters Mav. Currently my daily is a 22 Bronco 2dr 7mt, my sales guy said it will be 9-10 months out. The Mav is modest just an XLT, 2.5,, only option is a trailer hitch. Price is reasonable with employee pricing.

Weird story for me, as today I see my ‘23 just got built! Then a little while later, I see an email from Ford. I thought it would confirm the xlt got built today, but it was a confirmation message of my ‘24 xlt order, which I never ordered. Nope didn’t order one. So I’m wondering if perhaps the dealership I ordered from didn’t think I’d get my ‘23 order, so they have my back to re order? Oh, well, but I like it. So, in a day, I find out the ‘23 is built and I have a ‘24 ordered!

Yes, received mine. My original order was placed September 16 2022. I hope I get scheduled in August. They need to fill their existing orders before accepting new orders. This is beyond rediculous !

I think that's the plan, but time will tell. Hopefully Ford will do a better job at filling 2023 orders first.

I ordered my rollover Lariet july 17th at 4pm but as of today 7/24/23 nothing yet from
Fords, I hope the sales person submitted it to the order bank..

You probably should check with your dealer/salesman about that.

This is exactly what happened to me. I called the sales guy and he said they did that even though I have a VIN for a '23; just in case my '23 doesn't get built for some reason, like happened with quite a few '22 models. Since it has the same order Code as my '23, I assume he's telling the truth. Ford should see the identical Order Codes and not build two vehicles for the same customer.

They're supposed to start building them late Oct, so deliveries should start midish November '23. Ford claims to be prioritizing '23 rollover orders first.
If you're a new 2024 order and Ford keeps their word, you'll likely not see your truck until Feb 2024 at a minimum. Otherwise it's luck of the draw and dealer allocations that factor into your wait time.
A potential UAW strike this fall could mean delay in some parts that go into Mavs getting to Mexico, which could hold up builds.

I like your logo. Unfortunately it's hard to figure out when you're truck will arrive until it is given a build date. I think an average wait time is about 10 months or so depending on your build. But some people have waited a lot longer and are still waiting
