Getting an order submitted via WBDO is step one. Obtaining a copy of the COVP approved order via cni.dealerconnection cements the order within Ford's system. I would do everything I can do obtain priority 03 for my order.

Orders at LM go by letter, two numbers, letter. Tim's first order would be T01B followed by T02B. The order date and priority number determines which models are previewed each week and based on allocations.Sales code is the dealer. Order number I think last year was generated in a sequence known only to the dealership. For example If a salesman’s last name started with an H he could start his order numbers at H001 and go up from there. Tim Bartz, Ford Video Guy on YouTube did a great video on this last year. He has a ton of great info.
Sorry if you already knew about him…noticed your account is newer to the forum.
That sounds like something Ford would specifically NOT want to happen. Did you actually 'cancel' your order or just tell them you didn't want it? I would tend to think you're right about them getting another truck to sell...
Right, “determined by the dealer”. And ehh. Allocations, constraints, priority, date. Sure. I was trying to simplify it for the guy.Orders at LM go by letter, two numbers, letter. Yes- I would say that's a pretty bold move. It would be one thing to 'accidentally' forget to cancel the order even though you don't want it, it's another to 'accidentally forget to cancel the order and then accidentally place a new order.' You have to wonder at a dealer like that, if they are willing to cheat Ford, why wouldn't they be willing to cheat a customer?I "cancelled" in that I went into the dealership and told them to cancel my order and they gave me back my $1,000 deposit. I also did not go in and re-order this week. That's why I was so surprised to get the email lol. I assumed they would probably have let my MY23 order ride and take it for themselves but didn't assume they'd actually roll it over to MY24 without my consent.
I had the same thing happen! I did not cancel my 2023 order, but had decided I was not going to place an order for the 2024, yet I received an e-mail from Ford this morning congratulating my on having a confirmed order for a 2024 XLT! I have not received any correspondence from my dealer since placing the order on 9/21/2023, just the occasional e-mails from Ford saying they still have not scheduled my Maverick. I can only guess the dealership is hoping I won't accept delivery and then they will have another one to mark-up and sell on their lot! I no longer need it, but am half temped to take it if it ever gets built and then sell it myself!I "cancelled" in that I went into the dealership and told them to cancel my order and they gave me back my $1,000 deposit. Anyone receive the confirmation Email from Ford for the 2024 orders?

My order ID# is letter-mid twenties number-letter. I have no idea what it means or if it’s generated by Ford or the dealer.Yes I got one on my 2024, does the ID # mean anything? My number is in the low 100s with a letter?
