Sales code is the dealer. Order number I think last year was generated in a sequence known only to the dealership. For example If a salesman’s last name started with an H he could start his order numbers at H001 and go up from there. Tim Bartz, Ford Video Guy on YouTube did a great video on this last year. He has a ton of great info.Got mine a few minutes ago. It has a letter and 3-digit number. Does it signify the dealer or is it somehow sequential or ???
My local dealer will not let me order two... I might order a 2nd Maverick at a different dealer.yes, 1 for XL hybrid at 7:51 pm, and 1 for XL eco AWD, 4k tow at 7:00 pm
I believe COVP is intended to be one order per person. It’s possible the person stating they had two orders is referring to a second order placed by a family member. The salesman I ordered my 2023 Maverick from told me that Ford had called them regarding a customer of theirs that had ordered Mavericks from multiple dealerships. So Ford definitely has visibility over this but I’m not sure what actions Ford can or has taken to mitigate people from dealer hopping. Anyways I wouldn’t mess with it. Maybe Ford will flag people that place multiple orders this year and not schedule any of their orders. My local dealer will not let me order two... I would check with your dealer, they probably had to make sure the name was as it appeared on the '23 order for the '24 order to be accepted as a rollover. So i dont know if this is good or bad but i recieved 2, 2024 emails about a half hour apart. 9:30 and 10:00 pm. They both have my same order code as my 2023 but one has my first inital and last name as my 2023 is done and the second has my full first and last name
