Who does not have a bed liner?

A rubber mat covers the floor which gets the brunt of the wear. It's softer and more grip than either a spray in or drop in liner. $39 Home Depot.

It's a little big, so curls up the sides. I was going to trim it, but with time and use it's forming to bed quite nicely and also gives some protection for the wheel wells and front of the bed.
I did use points for the tailgate liner.
Also I have a hard tri-fold cover. If the bed is open and empty, wind will start lifting it.

I got the unicorn MY23 Lariat that didn't come with a SIBL so I got Line-X. It was one of my first purchases. I camp with the scouts and so there was no chance it didn't get scratched to hell. At least the bed liner will keep a consistent look.

The day in October '22 when I received my Hybrid I was going to order a drop in from Noble Truck here in Fresno , there was a brand available for two hundred something dollars , sorry , I don't recall the brand....but ....on my delivery inspection it was clear that somewhere along the line , probably at the dealership slid something in our out of the bed . The bed and inside the tailgate were scratched . The dealer gave me a spray in liner , no charge ! I was happy with that !

Hey there fellow Fresnan! Which dealer was this? At least they offered a decent solution. We haven't had good luck dealing with the local sales departments unfortunately. That's why we purchased my wife's 2017 Explorer and now have ordered my 2025 Maverick from the Ford Store in Morgan Hill.

no liner just a mat, not going to haul heavy abrasive cargo. If bed gets scratched down the road I can always have it sprayed and have a fresh look.

Same - ordered with a bed mat and added the tailgate cover with Ford points. Main reason was cost

My 2024 Lariat came with a sprayed in bed liner. I added a 1” foam mat.

Spray in, used a piece of PT plywood in Nissan XE so thought the sprayin was better

Used Ford ranger dibl modified ( measured and cut with jigsaw ) bought on Craigslist for $25 . Price was right and works for me . extra cut material used for tailgate . Even has the Ford logo at front towards the cab .

I'm curious who opted to not have a bed liner? I did not order one simply because I thought I could get it done locally a little cheaper. But I do think trucks look great without the liner but then they get scratched up. So who doesn't have one and why?

Mine was supposed to have one but did not.

I happened to come upon this forum and a local said to go back to Lithia and ask for Donald , he handles special orders . Sure enough , NO markup , no hidden fees , no down payment . Of course it did take a full year to delivery . At that time I mentioned the ZERO percent loan offer from the time I ordered it .
Yup got the zero percent loan . No BS there either .
Hybrid , XLT , Sunroof , Velocity Blue ....everything I wanted . $27,000 out the door ......and FREE bed liner .

Nice! Happy to hear it worked out for you. I wonder if these dealers that put huge markups over MSRP next to the window stickers have any idea how many sales they lose. When my wife and I go to a car lot to check out things and maybe sit in what we are interested in, and then see the markup on the window, we always leave after 5-10 minutes and go elsewhere.

That's great re-use. I had a '96 Ranger and transferred the bed mat when I purchased an '01 Sport Trac. Very minimal trimming as I recall. The extra length just wrapped up the front. I let it go with the Sport Trac since it didn't fit the 3 row SUV family hauler that followed. I could have kept it for the Maverick!

yep, and since sales/service $$ is about 50/50%. Poor practice unless their service record sucks.

No liner here because I wanted to keep it light. The bed liner adds weight and I knew I wanted a bed cap which is pretty heavy. I have the bed mat, but it would be cool to try the tray, which is just the bottom part of the drop-in liner.

Ford branded bed mat 25.0 lbs.
1/8” thick spray in liner is 0.7 lbs per sq.ft. Maverick bed + 4 side walls is 42 sq.ft. = 29.4 lbs.
I’d rather have all surfaces protected for the same weight.
