I just brought home an XLT 300a 2.0L AWD in Shadow Black. MSRP was $31,569. I had a PCO for $750. Along with employee discount the sale price was $28,858. No 360 though.

I put a deposit down on a '25 space white awd hybrid lariat w/ 4k tow ... $38.3k out the door. Hoping this will be a vehicle I keep for a long time so I wanted as high of a trim as was reasonable.

I'm trading in my '20 Honda Fit that I bought right before covid steamrolled through the car market. The maverick was announced a year later and I was bummed out because that was the perfect truck for me. My brother has a '24 XLT hybrid now and he loves it.

I've always liked trucks but the mpg's is what kept me from owning one, since I never 'needed' a truck for work or anything.

I'm excited to get it, and Ford did something right because I NEVER thought I would buy a Ford (maybe could see myself getting a project Mustang or something, but a daily driver? absolutely not), and this will be my first American car I've owned since the '87 Camaro I got as a hand-me-down when I started driving.

Good to see you back from the dark side. Now that the initial bugs are worked out, the Maverick is a great little truck.

Got to love the instant throttle response of the hybrids. The 750 was a Ford rebate in your name. I got that too. I got the basic AWD with 4K. I just had to change the wheels. Wheels transformed the look.

Really liking your truck with the addition of the new wheels. Really dresses up that XL model that's for sure. How were you guys able to tell if you had the $750 rebate? Also any idea what the expiration date on that rebate is?

I'm starting to take a look at Maverick's again but not sure if I'll end up doing something or not. I'm honestly torn between the XL and XLT as I'm sure I would like to get the XLT Lux PKG with the heated seats and steering wheel but honestly I'm sure I could do without. I am leaning towards AWD too as I'm in MI but that might not end up being a deal breaker for me if I could make the deal work.

The dealer told me about the rebate. Told me it was in my name.

Got the '24 XLT AWD, 4k Towing, 2.0 EB Cactus Gray for $30,700 (after taxes and tags, etc)
(was about $28,000 selling price before fees and tags)

I like most of the 2024 features Much better than the 2025 which I also drove.
The climate controls being buttons instead of in the touchscreen is a godsend.

Having real dials for speed, gas, rpms and oil is definitely preferable to the 2025's all computerized layout.

I'm an analog guy. I do not like all the modern features cars have like lane assist and giant touch screens.

The button that turns off the touchscreen is amazing!!!
Being able to bypass the awful autostop feature makes me happy.
Also don't have the collision indicators in the mirrors, which I like it better this way.

I didn't get a keypad or power seats, but overall I really like the package this truck came with.

Ford pulled the ultimate move with recent Maverick price hikes which almost completely erase the deal and when tariffs are gone, price hike will remain in place :)

I agree with most of that, I actually prefer the analog gauges as well. I think the '2025 instrument screen looks boring and weird like cramming a square peg in a round hole. It shouldve kept physical gauges on the sides at least instead of flanking the basic display screen with coolant/gas info that looks like they were ripped from a 1980's sports car digital dash.

I wish it kept the physical hvac buttons as well, but I'd take that 13" screen all day long!

My 2025's MSRP was $31,510 and is an AWD XLT with the 2.0 and also has the 302A and mine has the Ford Co Pilot 360 Assist Package whatever that means.

I also never imagined buying a Ford; when my '03 Sprinter got to about 350k miles it was time to get something else, and at the time diesel engine systems became unreliable about the same mpg as gas engines due to emissions junk, and Mercedes didn't have a gas Sprinter, so I bought a Transit. It's a big step down in build quality and mpg (25 in the old Sprinter, 15 in the Transit), but has worked out ok. And now I have a Maverick, too, mainly because it's the only thing like it available at this time, NOT because it's a Ford (brand loyalty is kind of stupid...). And it's cheap, as long as you don't fall for the ridiculous "upgrades" to different trim levels.

Our logging company has always bought F250 4x4s, since the 1980's. Not great, but better than the other options. The random reliability always made me not want to have a Ford as a personal vehicle. Some of those trucks literally spent just as much time in the shop getting warranty repairs as they spent on the road, and a couple were bulletproof...same exact year and model and options.

Being in MI you wont regret getting heated seats and steering wheel.
