In all my decades of driving I’ve never needed one.
Always carried a good set of jumper cables. They never need charging.

Never even once have I needed a jump.
But I’ve jumped a lot of other people’s vehicles.
My batteries are always well maintained.
Almost every vehicle I’ve jumped had terminal corrosion, rot. Cheap too old batteries and or the vehicle was in overall poor condition.
Just sayin.

i,ve never had to jump start my batteries over the years much either .but these are alot easier to use than jumper cables.especially when you cant get close enough to both vehicles to be able to jump start the bad battery.and i also have a 30 foot set of cables in my truck just in case they are needed.

I would just hand crank my model T so I don't even need jumper cables...

I purchased the Wolfbox 4000A it’s a great jump box I did a lot of research before purchasing - all jump boxes are not created equal

I'm jumping late to the party, but I'm gonna be getting the one below because its got the air compressor and decent reviews as well.
But I'm also looking at a new model at Costco, Cat 2500A lithium jump starter. Price is $99 now.

I use them a lot around the farm, specially jump starting riding mowers and inflating tires.

I personally like the idea of having the air compressor and jump box in one. I've only used mine for my lawn mower and to assist others but I've been impressed with Dewalt. (As usual) No they're not the cheapest and I initially went with a vector 1000 amp jump box and compressor. Two brand new and right out of the box gave me issues. The first one had a compressor that would kick off after less then a second. The second one would never fully charge. The vector has good reviews so maybe I just had bad luck but I'm very happy with my Dewalt and it fits perfectly under the back seat. Know and test your emergency items before you need them! Spend the extra money and get a well known trusted brand.

We bought this jump starter on Amazon:

https://a.co/d/9Xv6Tkd

and at the same time got this tire inlatir from the same manufacturer:

https://a.co/d/7hY0LXc

We're happy with each of these purchases. The reviews were very good for both.

We used the inflator to bring two large truck tires on a work truck up to proper pressure. You set the desired pressure and it stops. Verified it's accuracy with a gauge. Has settings for bike tires and sports equipment (balls) as well.

All of this fits in a red Harbor Freight tool bag.

NOCO idiot proof but if you find yourself using cables it’s +( dead), +, -, - (dead)
It's supposed to be + (dead), +, -, GND (dead). You shouldn't connect a good battery in parallel directly to a bad battery's posts in case it's off-gassing. I've been in close proximity to an SLA battery explosion, and it ain't pretty.

The facelift on the front and the interior likely started design before the 22 MY were produced. It takes time to design, make prototypes, test fit, create production molds etc. " Automakers typically start the redesign process of a car model 3-5 years before it goes into production, according to Torque News. This allows for the extensive engineering, design, and testing required to bring a new model to market. " Where as the defects of current models is a different department and start work on them when the defects show up. So redesign is a proactive department, defect resolution is a reactive department.
Their "reaction" to solve the Maverick hybrid's very troubling deep sleep problem is a likely an equal mix of taking a lackadaisical approach to the problem and dilettantish engineering.

I keep that exact model around, but its gotten more use by my neighbor  , so far its been solid and reliable.
I've had the other big jump boxes from HF and the first one was great, the the second one pretty good, and the last one sucked. I'll give the benefit of a doubt tho that the last one didn't have the proper initial charge before someone (not me) tried to use it. I may see if I can get a replacement battery for it one day.

Lol... I had one of those neighbors. Glad to hear you're Dewalt hasn't had any issues either! Perfect size for the Maverick.
