Just wanted to chime in and mention this text I got from my service advisor regarding the redesigned axles yesterday.

Got the same date for mine. Been sitting at the shop for three weeks.
Sounds like possible good news if we’re getting better parts…

This is good news. I'm sorry for those who had to go through this and then wait. My mileage is around 15k and it seems the issue starts showing up at 22k to 45k. By the time I'm close to 22k, perhaps the supply of these better CV axles will be more plentiful.

So forgot to put an update here…..turns out it was not my CV axles making the noise. They swapped the old ones out for the new ones and the truck still sounds the same. The tech believes it may be an issue with either the struts top or the struts themselves. It’s possible that the crappy california roads have defeated one if these parts. To be sure, I’ll be personally inspecting the suspension components this week, and if it comes down to it, probably going to have to swap my eibach springs for a set of coil overs.

Haven’t had time to jack the car up and inspect. Weird thing I noticed though. The sound is drastically louder when it’s cold out. When the weather warms up, sometimes the suspension makes literally zero noise. I’ve dealt with suspension sounds before but this one has me confused.

My Lariat FX4 2022, 20k miles is already showing signs of issues with grinding noise in the cab turning right and a wobble during acceleration. Looking forward to a redesigned or aftermarket axle as soon as available. Holding off till then since I don’t drive it that much.

Why hold off when it is something they will replace under warranty?

They might just do both at the same time. If I were you, I'd pay the difference and have them drop the Tremor CVs in it.
