When do 24 orders need to be COVP by?

Has Ford said when 24 orders need to be COVP by? I know many dealer have been swamped with orders and are prioritizing entering orders over the COVP process. @fordvideoguy

My '23 order was placed by phone and the dealer sent me priced DORA and COVP tracking + auth. numbers. I never signed an order summary. The only thing the dealer asked me for was a copy of my DL, which I emailed to them. I have a VIN and truck is scheduled for production the last week of August.

Usually there isn't a deadline until the order banks close but it would be advised to do it before they start to schedule 24MY. Once they see the 23 and 24 covp that's when they will give the order an 02 priority. That should be 8/7 or so.

Tim, talking about priority code. Can you confirm that for those rolling-over 23 orders to 24, the priority codes shouldn't matter the 24 orders, as when Ford sees COVP on both 23 and 24, Ford will automatically assign a 02 priority code to the 24 orders?

Is there a way to know if the priority was changed (besides asking dealer)? Also, if Ford changes the priority, can a dealer change it back?

For example:
1) Ford changes my order to priority 2
2) I ask my dealer to see the current status to see if Ford successfully matched my order
3) The intern working in the ordering team says "Uhm, that's strange, all orders should be a priority code 19 according to my training"
4) Boom order back to priority 19

Is that something I should worry about or I am overthinking this? Can Ford Chat provide me with priority numbers?
