A "Shorty" antenna. I don't listen to the Radio these days, so reception is not a concern..
But I can FIT into my Garage pretty Good!

All Weather Floor Mats are the close 2nd...

Line-X spray in liner. Had to drop the factory spray in due to constraints. Wouldn't be without it.

Mabett underbody cavity shield, rear bumper cover plate around the hitch & flexible mud flaps. The cover plate was for looks, the other two for protection.
Specifically chose the flexible mudflaps because they do not rub the body paint and used existing fastener holes. And in Buffalo, with the snow, I need the mudflaps to flex as their hit with slush and build up or I back into snow and don't want the flap to be ripped off.
The cavity shield prevents all the same crap from filling the void and covering the electrical components Ford failed to protect.
Yes, I would buy them again!

The Mabett center console storage box w/lid. It fills out that weird center space next to the armrest and it's big enough to store my EDC while keeping it close incase something was to happen. Much better than getting a holster that drills into the inside of the truck IMO.

My first mod was a big one. Ordered Eibach lowering springs and 20" wheels within a week of owning it. I ordered the truck with rubber mats & spray in bed liner. Wouldn't have done it any different.

Thanks for the info on the underbody shield. Also living in WNY it’s something I may look into.

Seeing the recent mud flap discussion got me thinking—what was the very first accessory you bought for your Maverick?

And honestly, looking back now, would you still make it your first purchase?

Maybe it was mud flaps, floor mats, a tonneau cover, some extra storage, or something completely different.

On the flip side, is there anything you thought was a must-have on day one that’s now just collecting dust?

Hopefully this turns into a solid cheat sheet for new owners trying to figure out what’s actually worth spending money on first. 👇

I picked up my '25 XLT Hybrid 4WD last December then started adding (in order)

Mabett Seat Covers
Realtruck Backflip MX4
Center Console Organizer
Tailgate Assist

I'd do it all again and in the same order.

First thing I got for my Maverick was a bed cover, second thing was to get the front windows tinted, third thing was the shield on the hood front, forth was the tailgate letters, then the dash board mat, and rain guards.

Musology center console trays and dash tray. Still in the truck, except for the center tray that broke within a month. If I had to do it over I would not have bought Musology. But was new to the forum and they were a sponsor then.

First accessory was a bed cover. Worth it? Without a doubt.
That is a very common first accessory! Also usually mine along with some floor liners.

As I've stated on the forum before, the excellent Mabett mud flaps were my first aftermarket add after a month of experience with the truck. What I've never mentioned here was that my first purchase was actually an AVS Bugflector II. I had had them on two prior Rangers totaling over 20 years with no problems and installed them both myself. After I got it, people on here were talking about the pre drilled holes not lining up and the hood shake problem that it accerbatted, so I cooled on it. Later you could not get a deflector with a vertical lip that actually deflected the bugs, just protected leading edge of hood and did nothing to help your windshield stay relatively bug free.
I eventually went on and got TuxMats, a Mabett console armrest cover, Mabett hitch hole filler panel, Mabett LR fender gap cover panel, dash tray and console organizer. I don't think my windshield interior shade came from Mabett, but probably because I don't really like it. However it does work, just a pain because it's too stiff.
The Bugflector still stands in the corner of my barn, I know you can get the vertical deflectors again, the hood shake problem has been dealt with and it's easy to drill holes in. My current use case has few higher speed miles and in 2.6 years only gotten one tiny pit on that leading edge. So far, I like the look without it. Maybe if I plan that cross country trip, I will install it.
Also, not mentioned above a "Maverick" embroidered dashmat, a hard tri-fold tonneau cover and a Mabett glovebox organizer that's perfect.
