  2. TPMS sensors on valve stems

It's not the psi that is a problem. It is the weight of the pressure sending unit screwed to the tip of the valve stem that causes flexing and eventual failure of the rubber valve stem. Solved by using a metal valve stem. The RV TPMS system allows you to monitor tire pressure and temperature...

  7. What Was Your First Maverick Mod—and Was It Actually Worth It?

Mabett underbody cavity shield, rear bumper cover plate around the hitch & flexible mud flaps. The cover plate was for looks, the other two for protection. Specifically chose the flexible mudflaps because they do not rub the body paint and used existing fastener holes. And in Buffalo, with...
  8. Will your Hybrid start without you foot on the brake?

Yep. Still trying to break the brake pedal habit that was necessary on my prior vehicle. Cruise control was on the opposite side of the steering wheel. Wiper lever went down, not up… 😵‍

  10. 1 year, 130k mile review from a heavy hauler

$20. Just got it, but I'm thinking of hanging it from a wood a-frame with through bolt, high enough to drop the coupler on the hook, or hook a chain wrapped around the coupler. Or maybe suspend from a farm jack, or a steel pipe threaded into a flange? Still a work in progress... :unsure...

  12. 1 year, 130k mile review from a heavy hauler

I noticed the mileage creep too. Ranko, were you having the oil analyzed by Blackstone? And what were they reporting at these higher intervals? And I'm assuming that the OLM was reporting "I give up, you're on your own... :computerrage:"

  17. Dim display screens on new 2026 Lariat Hybrid

I've had my brightness alternate when it is not full sunlight outside and I'm passing under the shade of trees or shadow of a mountain. But in normal sunny conditions, it's stable. If it flickers under full sun conditions, sounds like it could be an electrical connection issue. Just make sure...
