Three cans of paint and masking tape! Then designed and had the stickers made at the local sign shop. You could say, though, the "Retirement Edition" badge was first. It came in before the truck.
The first I bought in the true accessory sense after taking delivery was the tailgate damper. Everything other than the dash cams and Auto Stop Start Eliminator was with Ford Points.

Weather Tech floor mats. Then Hood air deflector- air deflector is the most important! Then Mud flaps- which really help keep the lower areas clean and reduce chips.

I like the “Retirement edition” badge but I saw an “F-50” one I liked a twitch better.

Seeing the recent mud flap discussion got me thinking—what was the very first accessory you bought for your Maverick?

And honestly, looking back now, would you still make it your first purchase?

Maybe it was mud flaps, floor mats, a tonneau cover, some extra storage, or something completely different.

On the flip side, is there anything you thought was a must-have on day one that’s now just collecting dust?

Hopefully this turns into a solid cheat sheet for new owners trying to figure out what’s actually worth spending money on first. 👇

Came with mud flaps, floormats, roll up tonneau cover, bed liner when i bought it...since added glove box organizer, chrome tailgate lettering inserts, lift gate bottom hole cover, rear seat cup holder, hitch area cover, windshield sunscreen. Still wanting to add fender flares, rear wheelwell open hole covers...and maybe seat covers if I can find a nice cloth set instead of the fake leather stuff.

I ordered three things on the same day I ordered my 24 Maverick, and installed them all within a few days after the truck arrived. I would recommend all three to anyone interested, and would definitely do again. New Michelin tires to replace the Continentals on day one, a BedRug, and a Diode Dynamic Fog light kit. Definite improvements!

My first was the little caps/plugs for the holes in the tailgate where the wire goes into the tailgate. Had it before I had the truck lol cheap and easy. Second was the tailgate damper and third was the Maverick innovations cable holder. The cable holder somehow got mutilated tho and have a back up but haven't had any issues with the cable binding since taking the first one off 🤷‍♂️ I've done a bunch of other cheap random things too but definitely getting that Mabett cavity plate for the underside before this year's snow fall.

My first mod was a big one. Ordered Eibach lowering springs and 20" wheels within a week of owning it. I ordered the truck with rubber mats & spray in bed liner. Wouldn't have done it any different.

Thank you much. Doing a Lobo front end next, dropping the parts off for paint ceramic coating tomorrow.
Nice! Hope you will do a post of it here. It really looks good.
