Not hidden features per way but I didn’t realize right away the bed cubby has two levels. I thought it was small until the tray part came out. The other thing I didn’t realize where the tailgate bottle openers until I installed the tailgate assist.

The bonus compartment in the door kind of behind the water bottle holder. Nice little hideaway there. And though it's not hidden, as a first time Ford owner, I'm loving both the one turn start (you don't have to hold the key in start for it to go), and the brake hold feature (as a City Slicker). Also the courtesy wipe. Love that one.

When using the remote start feature it will either cool your truck or turn on the heated seats and steering wheel!!! I don't know what the temps are when it switches between the two but it's a nice feature.

I realized this week that if you keep the climate control on auto when it is cold and blowing heat it will blow from below but when it is colder it moves to the upper vents automatically.

I keep the temp at 74. In the morning this week it was in the 50s on my way to work and it blew heat at my feet. When it warmed up in the afternoon it was coming from the top vents. I never moved it from 74.
Yeah! thats cool huh?

I'm still awaiting delivery but I saw in a video where that little tray in the cubby can be placed vertically just inside the door if you have something tall in the cubby; you don't need to put the tray elsewhere, it can stay in there.

That courtesy wipe had me frustrated a few times in the early days.

  1. Wipe windshield
  2. stop
  3. a few seconds later courtesy wipe
  4. doubt self and tap the wiper switch assuring myself it is off
  5. GOTO step 3

Actually some good info here that most of us have never considered. Obviously not all responses due to the usual things that keep some of us from letting our grandkids on the site. No place for the foul language. No one is impressed.

Kind of like:
1. Wet hair
2. Apply shampoo
3. Rinse
4. Repeat

I tap the switch down a little too hard and the spring is still too energetic- it sometimes pops up to "intermittent" all on it's own.

And it's a little frustrating my Odyssey's wiper controls are exactly backward- up for one wipe, down for all the other settings. :D

I always read the owner's manual, so nothing is "hidden" to me, but I missed the "auto lights" every time the truck is turned on- that's really nice, and EVERY car should have that!

I also love the auto high-beams.

Love love love when the weather is nice opening all the windows with one-touch. (Had to put a towel under the rear middle seat belt though, it was flapping really loud in the wind. Buckling it just made it worse)

Opening the locked Driver's door with the Ford supplied metal key sets off the burglar alarm.

This sets off a 30 second? Doomsday Timer that beeps with increasing frequency like Mission Impossible. You have limited time to start the truck or use the key fob to cancel the alarm.

I think that windows down feature is Lariat Lux only? Can it be "programmed" into lower trims?

I concur with the center rear seat belt.

I’m positive it’s more than programming.
You need some electrical changes. Specifically what? Sorry, I don’t know.

Courtesy wipe? I mean, I've heard of a courtesy flush, but a courtesy wipe?
