If I could trade my Lobo for any other Ford Truck (but I had to keep it & insure it & pay annual registration etc), I would chose a 26 Lobo with the 300T package over any Ranger or F150.

The low tailgate is important for me. Garage fit also. And the extra HP from the 300T package would offset the GPF. The Maverick is perfect for this old dude:)

I believe OP's original question implies only taking the price out of consideration among different sizes (for example, Maverick vs Rang vs F150, 250, 350) and styles (Pickup vs SUV vs Sedan vs Mini Van), but not the trim level (XL vs XLT, Lariat, Platinum).

Given the above understanding, I'd still choose Maverick. My own justification is that I'm looking for an easy-driving commuting vehicle with open bed which can haul home appliance, yard waste, and trips to home depot occasionally. Feul cost still matters. I want it to fit in my garage to sheild from weather elements. I don't look for a vehicle to define me but against my taste either (like a pink Cadillac).
Nope...he said What Ford would you buy....and we stickin' to it.....F450 Platty 4x4 please.......

Honestly, it would be the Bronco 2-Door Badlands with the 2.7L V6, it was the vehicle I really wanted but I didn't have the stomach to spend $50,000+ on a new vehicle. I actually found one equipped exactly how I wanted, even in a color I liked for $44,000 new off the showroom floor, I would have been driving it now but the government prevented Ford from selling it due to the recall on the backup camera.

After that the price skyrocketed past the point where I was willing to pay, so I bought the Maverick Tremor.

The other vehicle I probably would have bought from Ford, even over the Bronco was the Ranger Raptor, it still blows my mind it cost $10's of thousands less than the Bronco Raptor with the same mechanicals, just different body styles. Still a $55,000 MSRP made me want to vomit.

Hah! That's easy. Ford GT Mark II. Right now they sell for about $1.4 million used.

If insurance and registration cost are also included, I'd be tempted to say a Mustang GT convertible with a manual in that sweet Adriatic blue color, but I honestly don't know if I could live with it for a daily driver.

If I'm paying for insurance, registration and maintenance, I'll just keep my current vehicle!

It seems like getting a new expensive car at aa discount price is great, except for when you need to park it...
