What Ford accessories are worth it?

if you want to easily remove it yourself, a soft tri fold is an obvious choice.

The hard tri-fold can literally be removed in 15 seconds and is not very heavy.

Fold up, remove both thumb screws, lift off.

With the mentioned current 20% sale and most of my points, I just ordered the roll up hard tonneau for $552 total, tax included. I should have ordered it with the truck, but after 2 monthes of deciding (or undecidedness), I got it at a great price new.
I was going to get the splash guards, but got them online for about 1/3 the price.
Now hopefully I don't wait as long for the tonneau that I did for the truck !

Damn! Tri fold cover it's not cheap but maybe worth it after discount and points.

Remember, if you want to fold it (tri-fold) all the way up it will be blocking your view out of the rear window and there is also the wind factor to deal with. I've had several roll up tonneaus and they all performed well. The Realtruck roll up covers have tension blocks that make getting or changing the right "tightness" on the cover a snap. They can also be removed by taking off two bolts. They might still be giving a discount to Forum members.

Bed rug
I was undecided on cheap rubber mat, custom fitted mat, drop in liner (spray in costs too much)
I want to be able to slide items in/out and the biggest difference was reading peoples reviews about the foam padding - HUGE. The bed rug levels out the bed dips and gives a soft surface for kneeling on. The Ford one covers bed + tailgate, no sides. Fine with me for $10 shipped (with paints).

I wanted to get a bedrug but found that it won't fit with the DIBL.
I was thinking of the swing out storage but not sure it that will be a pain if I want to load up the bed.
Looking at the Bed mat, trying to find out if this will fit nice with the DIBL

Where did you get locks for the cubbies? My only hesitation about storing certain things in them are due to the lack of security (I don't have a bed cover).

I had to bend the tab a little to get it to fit into the slot in the cubicle.
I bought the 5/8'" ones. The 7/8" ones might have been a better choice.

Also with the the hard tri fold, you can fold only two of the slats and fasten down with a provided rod if visibility is the issue. The hard tri fold is much more solid than the roll up which uses Velcro to secure to the sides. This is my take on why I purchased the hard tri fold from Ford.

I vote for the folding hard toneau cover. Fits great. Currently there is a 20% off Black Friday sale + your Ford

Pass makes this more reasonable than aftermarket covers and it has the Ford nameplate on it. Works great and looks great as well

What do you use the cubbies for? I currently have zero cubbies.

I'm an XL, two cubbies are in my list for purchase with my points immediately. Any extra space is a bonus for me. Particularly where I can keep bed items organized.

I always keep work gloves, hitch ball, WD-40, Small rope, ratchet straps, cutting tool, rags, lighter, etc in the back of my SUV. It comes in handy when you're at the improvement store and figure out you needed lumber or something big you didn't plan for when you left home. Also great for odd times your at the office and want to pick something up on your way home.

Just a nice place to store all the bed and utility items you may need to make full use of the bed.

I have the Ford hard rollup tonneau cover. It is quite secure, each of the interlocking rails have a fitting on each end (side of bed). When closed, every rail is secured to the side of the bed rails with a steel bracket, and the tailgate must be opened to roll up. Minor disadvantage, it must be fully open or closed for driving.
I also keep a couple of rubbermaid storage bins and grocery boxes in the back.
I also have the Perimeter Plus Security module from Ford. It will give audible/visual warning (horn/lights) for an intrusion, also sends message to your Ford Pass app. The bonus is activating remote start with your factory key.
