6' bed. I like the 4.5' and the modified tailgate makes do, but it's gonna be a challenge for some things.

Outside of that, probably that the Mav will be a nice clean car and not a shitbox. Having a truck you don't care about let's you load things in easier and such. Hauling a full load of concrete to the dump is going to be a bit more of a hassle in a nice truck.

It's a 2005 Impala, so really the only thing the Maverick wont have, period, is Cruise Control. In my normal driving, I have an opportunity to use it maybe once every 3 months, so whoop-de-doo.
One of the reason I upgraded to a XLT was to get cruise control. My right foot has no willpower. I will race a three year old on trike. I wish I could get adaptive cruise on the XLT.

Things that will be missing on my xl hybrid that I have on my 2008 Kia Sorento are power mirrors, power driver's seat, auto dim rear mirror, rear defroster, soft touch interior, 4 wheel drive, cruise control and moonroof.

The wireless adapter for Android auto is not Bluetooth. It's a nearly 100$ kickstarter project that is compatible with most Android auto equipped vehicles. I've been waiting for it to be built and shipped to me since July and don't expect it for another month.
If you're talking about Carsifi, technically it uses both Bluetooth and Wifi. Wifi is used for actual Android Auto function, and Bluetooth for phone pairing.

I'm not sure if there's something special about that Bluetooth pairing or, more likely, its just a way to force the phone off your home/work/whatever wifi network and onto Carsifi without the user having to do anything. Never had Android Auto, wireless or otherwise, so I'm not sure what a typical connection is supposed to be.

Will miss:
-Adaptive Cruise
-Highway Drive Assist
-Keyless/Push-to-Start
-Heated Seats/Wheel
-EV Plug
-Dimming Rear/Side Mirrors

I might dig into an ACC retrofit like the 2G Fusion guys have done if I can get my hands on the radar block and harness. Not much I can realistically do about the lack of plug-in besides trading it if/when a PHEV variant comes out.

And I'm not spending $3.3k on the lux package just for heated seats. That's just madness.

I was really hoping to have built-in nav, even if the system leaves something to be desired. I don't like having to keep my phone plugged in and charging to use Carplay. And as I've discovered, some areas still are without decent coverage when I go on long journeys....maps don't work so well when the mobile reception goes away.

My current 2010 Yaris has crank windows.... I will miss not being able to open and close them with the car off. My kids will miss me not being able to lock the windows from opening.

Oh yeah, forgot about the rear defroster. I've had that on every single vehicle I've ever owned. Odd that it's missing on the Maverick.

At least you can get power mirrors on the XL with the Co Pilot 360 package

You're right, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making it sound like a small 5$ change to make wireless happen

Edit:
The campaign I have contributed to is
AA Wireless, but I'm sure it works the same as you described.

I will like having a truck that gets 40mpg for most of my short trips in town. Many little differences going from car to truck. I went from truck to car last time.

I presently get 150-175mpg running around town in my 2016 VOLT so will miss that. I will miss heated steering wheel and heated leather seats (went with just XLT). I will miss remote start and steering wheel switch to force regen braking (really saves using brakes much). I like Apple Car play so will still have that.

Volt is discontinued after 2019 so repair parts are starting to dry up or long weights. Mine has been bullet proof for 39k miles but who really knows when you will start having car problems. Carvana will be picking it up soon.

If you are willing to use the app on your phone I believe you can still do remote start on all models.

I know lots of people who have really loved their volts, you should get a great price on trade in right now right?

My initial thought is a rear defroster because I have it in all of my cars. However, I do not believe I had rear defrosting in my Frontier.

Overall answer is nothing.

I didn't realize that only the Lariat Lux bundle came with satellite radio.
I mean you can plug ur phone into the truck and use ur radio providers via apps...
