I have a '22 ecoboost XL, my drive daily, 65% highway/35% country roads in northern NJ . I drive in normal mode pretty religiously. I'm getting 30.6 mpg and have 38000 miles on it now. When I occasionally use eco mode, my mpg"s never get better than normal, and actually have gone down a bit . This has just been my experience, no BS .I have a 22 ecobost awd with the tow package. Got 6 k on her now and have always used the eco mode. I frive mostly on rural roads and highways. Very little city stop and go. Getting 29 mpg. Was wondering if eco mode is actually saving me anything? Wonder what others use.
