It's a 5% change, so you will get 5% more torque and 5% higher revs. What 5% higher revs means I can't tell you, I assume the window sticker shows the new mpg?
Good point on the window sticker. For me MPG matters more so as it's a daily commuter 90% of the time. I kept FWD and didn't look beyond the AWD mpg hit. Was just kind of curious.

Even if you don't plan on towing more than 2k the added cooling capacity and transmission cooler are worth it for longevity of the engine and transmission.
And I say don't underestimate the value of those coolers. The only vehicle transmissions I ever had go bad were ones that didn't have a cooler. Every other ones that had a cooler were still going strong when I got rid of the vehicles.

I did find window stickers for a 4k and non-4k Lariat, same 24 mpg on the window sticker. They might not have tested the difference. My FWD sticker was 25.

FWIW, I've averaged about ~26MPG in my 4K with up to 29MPG on the highway.

Thanks for the heads up. Going by reported #s and not sticker, your 29MPG seems a little lower than those who've reported being able to get 30+ on highway.

All in all still impressive for what it is.

It was late July in Alabama with the A/C running constantly. Might have impacted the mileage a little. I haven't done any major highway driving since.

I was thinking more along the lines of buying the tremor for the different bumpers etc, and then equipping the parts from the 4k...But it's more than just springs and a trans cooler. I will stick to the original plan of 4k/FX4. THanks for the responses.

A lot of people seem to ask in hindsight if they can equip a non 4k tow Maverick with the required equipment aftermarket and my suggestion is if you intend to tow more than 2k pounds just pony up for the relatively cheap package. Even if you don't plan on towing more than 2k the added cooling capacity and transmission cooler are worth it for longevity of the engine and transmission.
Couldn't agree more. That's why I added the tow package to my order. A bit surprised that it doesn't also feature an upgraded alternator. Evidently Ford didn't see this to make much difference

and resale value.
This is why I choose this option even if , today , I do not plan on towing anything.
In addtion how much will this package would cost you to buy and install afterward?
