I have a VIN, not yet scheduled 1st Edition EB AWD 4k Rapid Red - both ordered and confirmed in August 2021... Are you indicating this VIN will require me to change to a 2023 order? I hope not, I purchased this for the 1st Edition!!!
Don't worry, if you have a vin, you have a 22 build date as well. They probably just haven't told you the estimated scheduled build week. Your dealer and/or Ford Customer Support can get it for you.

That's the rub. It's not about "completing" the ROVP process because there's an issue with it. It's that they never submitted a COVP order to begin with 6 months ago. My question is can they do this now, or am I screwed?

Maybe @fordvideoguy can shed some light?

My dealer assures me that I'll be given the private offer even though I don't have an approved COVP order. I find that extremely hard to believe.

If they did not submit your order into COVP (ROVP for Maverick) by the deadline then it is too late to submit it. I was told that only certified COVP orders will receive the private offer. If the order was submitted and sitting with "on hold" status, they can fix whatever the issue is to get an approval still.

Ford uses the term COVP when referring to Mavericks.

Maverick Retail Order FAQs (ford.com)

"How are retail orders selected for scheduling?
Oldest Maverick retail orders are prioritized first, provided the dealer has completed the required Customer Order Verification Process (COVP) and the order can be scheduled within existing supply and optional features/package availability."

Correct that all Maverick verified orders show in the COVP system but when they are entered they must be submitted in the Maverick Lead to Order (ROVP) website instead of COVP.

I'm beginning to think that there MIGHT just be better run companies todo business with. I really wanted to have a Maverick. BUT . . . I'm 78 1/2 years old!!! Will I even live long enough, or should I just go with a Toyota or Honda?:sick:
Age-wise, I'm not that far behind you. I have my Maverick and it was worth the wait. Quite likely, it's the best vehicle I've ever owned from a utility perspective, and I find it very comfortable. The comments I receive from others are all generally of the "what a practical vehicle" nature.

I generally don't give advice to others (spouse and children excepted :ROFLMAO:), but if the Maverick is the vehicle you want, wait for it. Otherwise, you'll always wonder.

BTW, my mother is 95 years old and still going strong, so 78 1/2 is quite young by this metric!

What? I thought the terms COVP and ROVP were basically the same thing. A few days after I ordered in January I asked for proof that my order had been submitted through this extra step. I have an email from the dealer titled "Maverick- Custom Order Verification Program" with an enrollment status of "Approved". Tracking and order #s are included. Am I another victim of the dealer not entering my order correctly?

Was that (ROVP) ever required for placing orders, and if so, do you know when that went into effect?

Yes, always was. Went into effect for the Maverick at launch, June 8th, 2021. I did a video talking about how to get your order scheduled in September 2021 on the subject.

Ok, thanks. My dealer is telling me it wasn't required at the time I placed my order - which was the day before they closed the order bank. Found that really hard to believe.

Wish I'd found your vids sooner. Thanks for all you do.

Thanks RRaynor2.

I Called Ford today since I haven't been able to log on (nothing happens when I put in my VIN and order #) to check my order. The good news is my truck has been produced and is waiting to be shipped!!

I wonder if I go to my dealer on August 2, to create a new order, because I'm unscheduled and if Ford makes no major changes to the packages, will my luxury package from my MY22 that says I get a spray in bed liner, will that also convert to my MY23 keeping my spray in bed liner, or will it be changed to drop in? @fordvideoguy Do you have any insights on this?

Updated information on ordering from last night's Facebook Live:
Hello
What will the "private offer" be for the Maverick? What was it for the Bronco last year?
