I spoke with Ford yesterday they gave me my VIN and said my truck is on the schedule but they said they can’t give me the date that needs to come from the dealership. I reserved 6/14 XL EB

Yeah I think we are in for a long one here. I may be switching to a different truck. Will be patient for a little longer though.
I might start searching for a new SR crew cab Toyota 2WD 4 cyl ..

I'm in the same boat. I will probably be doing the same. It sux its a good idea with the maverick and all but, it feels a little too much like a Rollercoaster at the moment and not a fun one.

What's funny is at the beginning of summer, before the Maverick I was shopping for a Tacoma, I was told that maybe by the end of August I could have one as the current deliveries here were all sold! Plus the pricing was crazy. I figured if I have to wait, I might as well wait a little longer.

UPDATE:

On Thursday, August 19, Escape and Maverick will not be selected for scheduling.

Interesting. Perhaps they are doing a "clean-up" week with their scheduling and that is why we are hearing about some retail orders being moved up to an earlier date and some dealer stock orders disappearing from the system.

I'll wait to see if the November scheduling includes me before I look around but if it's looking late into into Q1 before mine would be delivered I might see what other new models are announced. Patience for me now though.

I’m the exact same way. Reserved early June, wanted my truck before snowfall to get out of my sedan. Ranger or Tacoma it might be if things get pushed back too far.. 😞

The time they have Is about 2 months..and than I’ll have all the down cash I need, if its in production or on the truck I’ll stay with the Maverick but if not it’s going to be the Toyota a close out 2021 Frontier

Might not be scheduling anything since according to another post build dates for a few people have been moved up and sounds like they are starting production early.

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I read this news the opposite way. Combined with some retail orders being pushed up and the reduction in allowed configurations, it sounds to me like they're simplifying the line to push out more product and are in the process of adjusting schedules accordingly. Wouldn't make sense to assign any new schedules until the updates are complete, hence none this week.

Well let's hope your right, but it sounds like Fords past history doesn't represent that optimism at all unfortunately. Let's all hope they got their stuff together and this is just all smoke.

I'm sitting tight with my hybrid order. No other vehicle checks as many boxes for me.

I'm not particularly thrilled, but taking delivery later is better for me.
