By default, neither: you get 225 A/T Pirelli Scorpions. You can select the 235 A/T Falken Wildpeaks as an optional upgrade (free I think) or automatically get it with the addition of the optional wheel or First Edition package.
How are guys doing on Maverick allocations vs. order numbers so far?
A couple other dealers have offered similar deals on here but they're all backed up with hundreds of orders and <40 being scheduled per month, so you could relieve some of the pressure if you can confirm you have the wholesale...
FYI a little background on Flex Pay, neither for or against but to explain it and maybe assuage some fears of "its a scam" or "seems too good to be true" or whatever.
Basically, it's a 3-year lease in all but name. Treat it like a lease in your financial decision making. Ford invented Flex Pay...
Interesting that he associates the Falken Wildpeak tires with the FX4 package, whereas elsewhere folks have said the FX4 comes with the Pirelli Scorpions. I wonder if that's a mistake or a late-stage change based on negative feedback. @fordvideoguy any insight into this?
You still running a 5 to 1 Hybrid to Gas ratio? If so, I wonder if you'll be able to wrap up your 2.0 schedules (aside from constrained options, of course) this week/month.
Nice to see there's still some October room in there.
I'm pretty sure I only missed out on getting scheduled in the first October round due to my tonneau cover, and really didn't think think I'd have to wait this long to get another chance after taking it off. Blasted allocations. Oh well...
Any word from our resident dealer friends on any previews for the week in light of this info? Thinking of @fordvideoguy @Dealerinsider and @Granger Ford
Sold my 1992 Mazda Miata (clean with <75k original miles) and my 2008 Nissan Frontier LE 4x4. As somehow who doesn't have to commute, they were a fun combo for the weekends. But recently had a baby and I don't want to risk a side-of-the-road experience in GA heat with a baby on board, so time to...
Maybe I'm an optimist, but I read this news the opposite way. Combined with some retail orders being pushed up and the reduction in allowed configurations, it sounds to me like they're simplifying the line to push out more product and are in the process of adjusting schedules accordingly...
With the varying info out there, I think it's an incompatibility at the factory, not on the truck. I can't prove it (obviously) but I suspect the covers and the extender are installed at the same station on the line, meaning they don't want two items for a truck at the same station slowing down...
I'll probably get a warranty long enough to last the length of the car loan, just as catastrophe insurance to prevent making payments on something that's failing. Beyond that it's almost always more affordable to stow your cash in a rainy day fund for your own repairs.
