Hybrid orders don't need to panic yet. It could be the bulk of the remaining MY22 were hybrid and Ford is simply balancing out their parts supply by doing an EB heavy first week. We all knew this would be slow. Until you hear from Ford your order won't be built, there is no sense panicking before the first bolt of the model year is even attached.

Told today that my order is being reviewed currently. It sure would be nice to receive better news, but it's much more than I expected this early as I didn't expect to hear a peep until spring at the earliest.

My 2023 hybrid order = rollover 2022 hybrid order. I wonder would I even get it in 2023.

Pretty sure @fordvideoguy stated in a recent stream that a bunch of 2023 orders of his were also being previewed last week but were not any more after it was clear there was no 2023 scheduling for now.

For me, I'm not gonna spin any wheels about my order until there's actually a scheduling email for my order. Until then, it's all up in the air.
During the ten seconds his stream was up, Tim said he actually had a couple more than last week currently being previewed. He said Ford could schedule despite the published schedule as it's weird they are previewing at all, but also warned that Ford could drop them all like they did last week since they aren't scheduled to schedule.

True,,, Ford could have a large supply of parts already or soon to have that could start a large production of hybrid. Sorry for the Word salad.

I would say for the near term, very few if any Hybrids will be scheduled for production.

No offense to anyone who really has their heart set on a Hybrid, but I am thankful I ordered an EB.

I also note splash guards are a constraint..... There is little point to ordering this and other ancillary iterms from the factory (floor mats, tonneau covers, etc.) when you can have your dealer install these items after your truck is delivered.
I ordered a hard tri-fold tonneau cover with the build for $1180.00. When I was browsing the dealership accessory shop the same cover was going for $2,300.

Cant see all of the constraints. Is it the usual stuff? Hybrid, Lux Pkg, Wheels?
I think the regular constraints apply. But if you have a hybrid or mud flaps, then it is a definite no for this first batch.

Hmmm.... I have no idea what product you're looking at exactly.

I purchased the soft tonneau cover in the attached link from my dealer for 2022 Mav for $569 installed.

Maverick 2022 Advantage Soft Folding Tonneau Bed Cover ~ VNZ6Z99501A42A (ford.com)

It's currently listed at $599 on the web site plus $72 for installation = $671

The same soft tonneau is listed as an option on the 2023 Build and Price web site for $590.

The same accessory web site has the following hard tri-fold tonneau cover:

Maverick 2022 REV Hard Folding In Rail Tonneau Bed Cover ~ VNZ6Z99501A42C (ford.com)

Price is listed as $1299 + $120 installation = $1419

I see the hard tri-fold cover on the Build and Price web site for $1180 as you stated.

I should point out that I bought my 2022 Maverick as is off a dealer lot when the original customer declined the order. When I was ordering my 2023, I didn't order Spray-in Bedliner, mudflaps, etc. with the order because I don't want to potentially delay its delivery, even it means paying a bit more after it gets here.

Why are people reacting to this now? We've known for a while that they can't build all the hybrids that people want. Saying that the Hybrids are a constraint means they can only schedule as many of them as the parts supply allows. We knew this when they said that only 30-40% could be made that way, and it's been like this since forever (well, it was zero percent for a while).
Isn’t that what this forum is for, Incessant bitching and speculation?

I love how Tim Bartz#Ford video guy just said that it is easy to get the tonneau cover easy from your parts department. (Maybe at Long Mc Arthur?)
The tonneau listed at around $1200.00 for an online order. At the Ford.ca parts site $1,523.23 plus applicable taxes and shipping fees.
Even at my local Ford dealership they have no tonneau covers in-stock.
I will still shop with Amazon and use the free prime shipping.

Hybrid or bust. If I have to pick EB, I might as well get another truck.
Especially since a Lariat EB requires AWD now at an additional cost of $2220.
