The easiest way for me is to have all the seatbelts buckled in the back and when I buckle the drivers seatbelt the screen goes off and don't have to press OK. I don't have passengers in the backseat that often so not an issue keeping them buckled.

It'll turn off once seat belts are buckled (after about 45 seconds or so). Drives me nuts that it won't go away when I'm parked and unbuckle. I've literally turned the truck off and back on to get it to go away.

Is there a way to Turn Off the visual seat belt indicator on start-up without having to hit the OK button every time?
So taking 1 second to push the button is just too much for ya ;)

I swear I didn't have it the first week I had my Maverick. Then I went through all my options I have in the cluster... Just checking everything out. I thought I must have turned it on but I cannot find any way to shut it off.

It's an unnecessary extra step. How would you like it if you had to bow to your microwave every time you wanted to use it to get it to start?

Only Lariat Lux has the instrument toggle.

For everyone else, you can just keep the unused positions buckled or insert a $2 plastic clip in each.

I've not even SEEN that message in 5 months.

23 Tremor, lux, 360. Seatbelt box unchecked. Seatbelt screen won’t go away.

I gotta push multiple buttons to program what I want it to do, and THEN I have to push "START"! Then, if you don't shut the door just right, you have to open it again and shut it, then push "START" all over again! What a PITA ;)

If all else fails, buckle the seatbelts or use these:

That visual seatbelt reminder is an odd feature, I get in buckle up & then start the vehicle, but the visual is still there for 1 minute unless I push ok, it should be there to remind me to buckle up if I don't. I now use this feature in the cold of winter, I start the Maverick & first put it in gear when the seat belt reminder visual got out, that's just enough time to get all the oils circulating good. See how I made lemonade there!
