  1. RIP Bender, but it saved my life

I'm definitely jaded working at the hospital and all but I swear I have never seen so many jackasses running red lights till I moved to New Mexico.
  2. Carvana Pricing Dropped Off a Cliff

So fun comparison, I have a new '23 XLT hybrid with only add on being trailer hitch, I loved mine so much that I bought one for a family member who decided they were going with a different vehicle and told me to sell it instead. It currently has a total of 52 miles on the Odometer, I just put in...
  3. Hitch Carrier

For the most part you would be fine, the primary component driving the rating difference is the ECVT transmission in the hybrid. I agree with the above comments about the rear suspension and need for extra support if maxing out hitch tongue weight. Frame wise you should be fine.
  4. Check engine light @ 2,600 miles, engine air leak?

Well, the engine light went away on its own after about another 40 miles of driving, never even got a chance to put a code reader on it
  5. Check engine light @ 2,600 miles, engine air leak?

Well my hybrid Mavs check engine light came on just a mile past 2,600 today. Subsequently received an alert on my app telling me I have an air leak in the engine and I have to go to a dealer. I’m currently on a road trip on an island (no dealers) 2k miles from home and here for another 10 days...
  6. Service warning about air leak in hybrid at 900 mi?

Just happened to me too! I have the same thing showing up now on my truck as of today @ 2,600 miles. I'm on a road trip and 2k miles from home at the moment and here for another 10 days, less than ideal. Has your warning come back on yet after a reset? I've never had check engine lights come up...
  7. DIY Smoked Tail Lights using Purple Zep

So to each their own, personally I like be more visible from behind. Especially with the low impact needed to total the Maverick when rear ended. There is a reason my department keeps the back off our truck bright red…

  11. Recommendation for full bed access trifold tonneau?

That looks awesome, let me know how well the seals hold up. Do the drain tubes ship with it if you have it sent to a home? I don’t have the luxury of going to them to get it installed but I can have it delivered to friends house in BC then install myself.
  12. New Release- Extang Solid Fold ALX Tonneau Cover! Group buy starting 3/14!

same here, the Maverick bed is too small to transport the occasional appliance without that, shame there aren’t more that do that on the market
  13. Recommendation for full bed access trifold tonneau?

I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a trifold hard tonneau that allows access to the full bed? I have seen several cheap ones on eBay and amazon but they never show if it lifts up against the back window to allow the full bed to be used for oversized items. I saw this Bison tonneau...
  14. another one bites the dust...

Spotted this on the news today, Seattle flooding from melting snow and King tides.
  15. Cool new City of ABQ Maverick

Driving around today and I saw this parked in front of a city fire station. Didn't see anyone around to ask what they use it for exactly or if it does emergency response but it does look cool with the light bar and LED flashers. Says city of Albuquerque on the side and yees they did get the base...
  16. Totaled! The most beautiful Maverick is off the road RIP vezpa's Maverick

As an ER provider assessing dozens of MVA patients per week listening to their descriptions of accidents I can attest that airbag deployments are highly variable and should be tailored to the accident the sensors detect. Its hard to fully say without having seen the accident but from the looks...
  17. Order Priority Codes?

New to the Forum here, this may have been asked already but im trying to decipher the significance of a "Priority Code" on an oder sheet. Family member and I both ordered MY 23 Mavericks. One is a Priority 10 the other a 19. Is priority 1 built first? Is there a "oh you will never get built"...
