Oh, ok. I was hoping to eliminate having to push "OK" even after my seatbelt is fastened. That answers my question.
You don't have to push OK. It will clear on it's own. Irritating? yes. Also if you buckle the rear belts and keep them buckled and buckle up the front occupied seats before starting the truck "NO POP UP."

I got 4 of these and they did not work one bit, and they are uncomfortable to use unless your 100 lbs overweight.
I think @BomberBuck bought them to defeat the pop up not to USE on the drivers seat. If the rear seat belts are buckled or a device like the extender is inserted and any front occupied seat is buckled then the pop up disappears or if buckled before starting the truck it never pops up.

This is reminding me of my wife's Yukon having a warning that said "fasten seatbelt before placing vehicle in gear" (or something similar) - to disable the warning and be allowed to place the vehicle in gear without the seatbelt fastened you just needed to change the settings using the infotainment screen.

(which I did because what about those times you need to back a vehicle out of a garage and park it in your own driveway. I'm not fastening my seatbelt for that shi*)

Just tried this and it does work. Which is bizarre, because if the seatbelts are buckled in the back, that would normally indicate that there are occupants back there and that's when I would actually want to see the seatbelt status screen. Seems like a poorly thought-out feature.
maybe intended for child seat?

Close for that, or kids.
Likely testing out meeting future requirements to see how it goes. Likely won't be good enough.

Method to do it cheaply - no pressure monitors to know if someone is back there - so assume there is and warn you as driver to confirm buckles are done if they aren't.

And that's why all the prior posts on work arounds ... work.

Now for the upcoming forgotten child requirement - it actually should alert on car turn off if a buckle is done - get your attention before you get out, to at least look.
The system does some paying attention to rear doors open/closed for trying to discern that.
But if you get gas and shutoff truck - that resets - so not a great failsafe method.
