Got the truck and put this cover on 1st thing!

Truxedo Pro X15

Pretty simple install, I did realize the rails need to be on exactly or else you will have too much tension and not be able to close it down. With a little adjustment it works perfect. I feel the fitment is also great, doesn't seem 'short' or anything. No rain here so not sure about how water proof it is haha.

I think in the future I'll switch it over for a hard trifold or hard roll up, but for now this is perfect!

Nice choice, IMO. I have the same one my Mav along with a set of bed racks.
It’s been great.

I have plans to add the same one to my second truck, when it arrives (8/26 order date), but have noticed the price has gone up substantially. 🙁

We’ll see. 🤔

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of bed racks are those? Would like to add a cover, but must work in conjunction with bed racks.

UPDATE:
Had some solid rain last night. I got a little water in on the edges of the cover like where the cover meets the tailgate and the top corners. Not too bad, nothing crazy. I forgot to get pics lol o_O

Hi! So I ordered this same cover, install was fine and I am very happy with the look, tightness and ability to hold water. However, I am unable to shut it with the tailgate up / unable to get the rubber water sealant to sit on top of the tailgate. Your pictures look similar but I wanted to check if you are able to shut with the tailgate up and have the water sealant sit above the tailgate. Even with shutting the cover first followed by the tailgate, the water protection is great.

I have the same cover and it fits perfectly. You can see by blowing up the picture a little that the seal sets well on the tail gate and the front is thought and sealed against the rubber gasket that was applied to the front edge of the bed. The gate can be closed either way, but if the cover will s down before you close the gate the seal is pushed inside the bed instead of on top.

I always close the tailgate first.

Im sorry to see your having trouble.

Thank you. I'm still having trouble identifying what I need to adjust in order for the rubber sealant to sit on top of the tailgate and for the cover to lock into place with the tailgate up.

There is a turn bolt at the front end on the drivers side, as I recall. Plus you may be able to loosen the rail brackets and slide the whole thing back some as well.

When I installed mine it was too tight and I couldn't close it. I realized that the rails weren't pushed up far enough to where the window is. Make sure you push it into the back of the truck and squish the foam a bit against that window. After I did this on both sides I was able to close it with no problems. I can close it with the tailgate up or down.

p.s. I also realized that when I took these pics I closed the cover and then the tailgate. This means the weather stripping let water in!. It rained heavily here last night and this time I had the weather stripping over it and I have very minimal water inside the bed this morning!

If nothing else has worked, One other thing to check is that the velcro inset in each side can slide a little bit forward and backwards from the rear window to the tailgate. Try adjusting that position on one or both sides to make sure that tension of this being at one extreme or the other is not the source preventing you from closing it. I’m not sure if that makes any sense until you see it.
