I mean ... With Hermasillo shutting down for two days, aren't all Mavericks being delayed a bit?

How late can a car/truck be before Ford actually labels it delayed?
Can you just STOP.

Tim clearly states " OKTB (okay to buy) is pending EPA testing " Information straight from the Maverick team.

Yet here you are ragging on and on about Maverick's being delayed.

Just stop.

There have been some dealers telling their customers that hybrid vehicles are delayed and won't be available for 6-8 months. Some saying there are thermal issues.

I want everyone to know they are NOT correct.

Hybrid scheduling and production continues each week.

OKTB (okay to buy) is pending EPA testing.

Information straight from the Maverick team.
So dealers are saying this so they can get sales alot sooner if they switch

Personally I think it would be nice if "The Maverick Team" said how long they anticipate the EPA testing to take. This isnt Ford's first rodeo seems like they could communicate better.

Earliest date would be early November if they got released next week. Allow 4 weeks from factory to your dealer.
Hoping the first thing I carry in my Maverick is all fixings for Thanksgiving dinner. 🤪

I think the real problem here is Ford Motor Company. Had they made a clear, concise, easy to understand statement about the "Hybrid situation", it would have made all the difference. People would not be getting false statements from uninformed salespeople.

For instance: "We understand that many of you have questions about your Maverick Hybrid orders. Specifically, when they will be scheduled / shipped. We want to assure you that we understand your frustration. As of right now, we are waiting for the EPA to do their testing, and give us to the ok to release the Hybrid. We anticipate this will take XX weeks, but cannot guaranty the government's timetable. Please be patient, we will follow up this email with another update next week."

Simple, to the point, and costs nothing to do. In fact if anyone from Ford is reading this, feel free to copy and paste. Just kick in some molded floor mats when my maverick comes in, and we will be even.

I would like an answer to my legitimate question: how much later would it be before Ford would consider labeling orders "delayed" ? Not ragging, seeking information.

Probably when "fall" is over. They're marketing material said "available fall 2021"

December 21. I do not think my June 17th order will arrive by then.

As for delays, the Hybrids are delayed in the fact that most won't be delivered "this fall". Be it EPA, Ford tweaking emissions, whatever.

Thank you for posting this. There is way too much negativity about this issue. I understand people are frustrated with not getting their trucks, but this is a new vehicle and things have to be done a certain way. This just helps me save more $$ for my down payment. If I were closer to Kansas, I probably would have bought my truck from you. I look forward to your Live YouTube message from your hotel next week.

That would make sense, I would still like official word from Ford on it

So, if this is true, the only way Ford will say that there has been a delay is if no hybrid trucks get delivered before December 21? If one gets delivered on December 20 then the hybrid was available at launch?

Even if the launch is "slower or later than expected" for a majority of people, as long as at least one hybrid order is fulfilled by December 21 there has not been a delay. That's what we're saying?
