It's where the 12v wire that came loose with your truck can be plugged in to get (20 amp fused) tap which will stay hot if itbhas something using current.

Here is a link from a guy on etsy.com that sells an assortment of things that'll work there. USB and USB-C ports as well as the old cigarette lighter plugs. I'd say pretty much that the sky's the limit; decide what you need and then let your imagination fly.

Good variety of 12v accessories you can install using those ports from USB chargers to cigarette lighter style outlets. Besides Etsy, Amazon has many vendors, too. Many threads here on what others have done.

This is what I installed in my 2022. Putting another one in my 2025. The switch was for lights I put in the bed. 12v outlet was good for running my livewell for fishing.

So on the 120V AC plug has anybody found a good use for it? My power is out so tried to use it for a coffee pot but guess the pot draws too much, it kept tripping off.

I got it off ebay. I used a 1 1/8" paddle bit to drill the holes to fit the switches-plugs. They each have a lock ring on the back side that I tightened down and that holds the plate in place, no screws needed. You do have to be careful to center the drill hole in the plate holes.

This one should work it's only 300 watts. You could boil tea bags, instant coffee or have my favorite boiled chickory coffee, even boiled dark roasted okra seeds. It's also a mini stew pot.

If this is tied to the terribly undersized and inadequately charged battery under the back seat, you put a 20amp load on it and you will get about an hour out of the battery before its dead, since the Maverick charging system only charges that battery to a 50% SOC.

I believe that circuit is the one that stays on for 90 minutes or until the 12v soc drops to 12.1 volts. So the battery save function would continue to operate same as it does currently. No difference just would still be recommended to put truck into ready state when using battery.
