Here is what Ford has in the workshop manual for the specs for the RDU & PTU. Ford doesn't show any different fluid or procedure for the Tremor.

Does the Tremor have the same RDU and PTU as the non-Tremor?

The Tremor has a liquid cooled PTU (non-tremor mav is air cooled) and a dual clutch RDU (non-Tremor is single clutch).

They're both different, which is why the service manual here concerns me. Sometime in the next few weeks I'll get under my Tremor and look but I don't think these instructions are correct.

Maybe the fluid is the same.

They share the same PTU, just the Tremors is cooled. So they would take the same fluid. Tremor does have dual clutch RDU. It is the same RDU as non- Tremor just with an additional clutch.
So again same fluid.

I believe this is true as well, based on available printed spec's, but curious if you were able to confirm this through some official Ford source; dealer service, engineering contact, etc...?

There is another thread about this floating around with conflicting information.

Reading threw the Ford workshop manual and with what I see in my parts catalog.

These are the available Powertrain options for a Maverick. Its the Same PTU in both just cooled in the Tremor.

This weekend I crawled under my 2024 Lariat Tremor to investigate this.

The PTU is noticably different and I don't think that the service manual is valid. It appears to me that, just as in the bronco badlands, you need to remove the cooler to drain it and that the drain plug spot is now occupied by a sensor.

The RDU is also different than the service manual indicates. But I think it looks close enough and has clear fill and drain plugs.

The locking RDU in the Tremor is manufactured by DANA. It uses the same fluid as the standard RDU in the Maverick. I use the locker in the sand a lot so I changed the fluid at 22K.
