eh, air horns might be necessary/nice for 1-tons pulling large trailers all the time. Having them on a unibody sub-compact truck might be overkill seeing how you can stop or change lanes as easily as a typical crossover.
But I realize everyone would like to think of themself as king of the road.

You did read the op's post that showed your sub-compact truck horn is 6 decibles louder than the train horn right?

Have a Nathan K3LA horn, 8 outlet, 10 gallon tank and compressor to mount.
Whether it be on the Ranger, or on a bed platform in the Maverick. Have had
mine for a while, just haven't gotten around to locating a mounting point, on either vehicle!

I rode a motorcycle as my sole means of transportation for several years. I installed an air horn on that bike, and it may have saved my life a time or two. One thing for sure, when someone started to pull into my lane right on top of me (motorcycles being invisible to most drivers, it seems), a short blast on that horn got an immediate response from them!

Side note - I had one guy follow me for a couple of miles until he could pull alongside and ask "How did you do that? I want one for my bike!" So I pulled into a parking lot and showed him the installation. Pre-internet, of course...

OMG, that is just awesome! The way people are driving today this is becoming a necessity in my book. I need to install one in my RV. You wouldn't believe how many people cut me off completely clueless of how much space it takes to stop such a mass.
