Taking into account a report that the fob key is a source of theft vulnerability for sophisticated theft groups, I noticed one comment that said that hitting the lock key on the fob twice, which make the horn beep, cuts off the vulnerability by stopping the fob from emitting its call to the truck. I have wondered about the effects of the second click. I normally do it because I like to hear the horn beep and I think the alarm is in a more protective state.
I have not yet seen anything in the manual about the effects of the second click. Can anyone provide reliable information on this?
Thanks,
Donald
