This! Easy Peesey. And you can store all your camp gear in the trailer when not in use.

I guess another thought would be one of those tiny tent trailers. Probably cost more than a cargo trailer but no conversion needed. And a lot less wind resistance than a cargo trailer, which you need to take into account with the Maverick.

Another thought would be a roof tent like Overland or Rough Country. Not sure if they have one specific to Maverick but if you added bed rails and uprights it might work. Just a thought....
I'd be perfectly willing to go this route...I LIKE tents. Hubby, on the other hand, is looking for a more cushy camping experience.

We are the opposite. I'm ok with a bedroll. Wifey, not so much. :):) But I have to admit the older I get the nicer that RV bed is...................

In my 6x10 , I mounted a fold down Queen size mattress (3 inch foam from hide a bed couch on 1/4 inch plywood platform) attached to some old bed frames bolted together . attachment to wall with some refrigerator hinges . mc in folded up . mc out folded down . raining out folded up for living space with lawn/ camp chairs and cooler as table . have propane camp stove for cooking and small porta potty for at night . led hanging flashlights for light . basic but high and dry . portable sun shower if needed . use tarp off back of trailer as 3 points stall with small tub to catch grey water . have hooks at roof line for shower stall and for tarp awning on door side . have 4 adjustable aluminum camp poles for awning . mc will probably be sold so will just use trailer for camping .

Trailer near ashville , NC. / blue Ridge Parkway . towed by f150 .

In days gone by, kings used to live in tents when on campaign. Tell him he could live like a king!

I get it, been there... Find the minimum threshold that meets requirement to keep the peace. Good luck.
