I have a Lomax hard cover on my Ranger and its great, but on my Maverick I'm intending to only have a cover on when I'm travelling or transporting some gear. I think this will be what I go with, inexpensive and easy to install/remove.It's on sale right now too

Just the first 2 panels it's held on with clamps from the underside. When you flip the panels there is a clipping tether to hold them in place. Unless i am.mistaken but I don't se a way to do it hahaCan the Gator flip all the way up against the cab or is it just the first two panels that flip?
I'm looking at the Truxedo roll-up cover and was curious about it being able to handle snow. Sometimes, we'll get a foot or two at a time here in the Adirondacks...I've had the Ford soft roll-up on for week (rebranded TruXport).
Early last week we had driving rain and flooding, this weekend 6"-7" snow piled on it. No leaks at all.
If the included gasket material is used as directed (not on the tailgate like one YouTuber did), and it is positioned properly (~7/8" to 1" from rear window, not flush to it), it fits and performs well.
This is really good to know. All I could find from past searches was complaints about it being short. I’m thinking of getting a Truxport with a set of BillieBars or KB voodoo bars. Would be a versatile set up for me.I've had the Ford soft roll-up on for week (rebranded TruXport).

I have the same one. I confirm that you put the foam tape on the inside edge of the front of the bed. I was able to get the cover to have about 3/4" of landing on the front and the tailgate.I've had the Ford soft roll-up on for week (rebranded TruXport).

I'm getting the Truxedo Sentry hard roll-up tonneau cover. Takes up very little bed space, easy to rollup & better security than soft tonneau covers. Will get it ordered by dealer as it would be a constraint on my build. About $1,045.Hey friends,
hoping you can give me your two cents to help my tonneau research. Im also reading the other tonneau threads here, but following are my specific needs:
-relatively economic
-easily removable (i want my personal tools protected most of the time but will need to remove it to carry larger, taller items frequently)
-id prefer if it was folding. But its not 100% required
thats basically it. Thanks!
This is my second TruXport. They are great covers, the side rails are gasketed and clamped down to the bed ensuring a good seal, better than folding ones I've seen. The angled rails enable you to get it taut without wrinkles. If I'm out and need full use of the bed, I can roll it up and not lose rear visibility. Occasional treatment with 303 will keep them looking new for years.I have the same one. I confirm that you put the foam tape on the inside edge of the front of the bed. i LOVE the Truxedo, its my 3rd one. Easy to use, easy to roll up, tight and crisp. For half loads you can spring-clamp the rolled up cover to keep it in place. GREAT VALUE for the price,
I also used the 20% Ford code posted in this forum a few weeks ago. Thanks!
