I have a 2024 XLT Hybrid. I have about 30,000 miles on it and getting ready to buy new tires. What’s the largest size above stock that can be used without modifying the suspension? I think a little taller tire would look better. TIA!

245/65R17 is the best size without a lift needed, no rubbing reported

I’m only at 10k miles but when my tires do need swapped think I am going with 235/65R17 size (which I think is what is on a Tremor). I figure less of a mpg hit than the 245’s. Might possibly do a small lift of 3/4 or 1 inch. I agree, the OEM tires look a little small.

Before you do any modifications check with Ford, they might X-cell your warranty rather than do a big job under your warranty, I wouldn't put anything a dealer would pull.

My 23-xlt-awd came with 245/60R/18. Every post I've noticed here are 17 inch are mine a freak of nature?
If you bought it used, someone swapped out the tires.

If you bought it new, then the dealer did it.

I know that the dealer didn't do it, I was at the dealership when they backed it off the truck.

The black appearance package on a 2024 XLT comes with 18" rims and 225/60 R18 Michelin tires.
Mine did

Well, 245 is not an OEM section on any trim level of Maverick, regardless of wheel diameter, so that’s either a typo, or yes, you do have a freak of nature.

My Maverick came with the 19" rims. I wish that it had the smaller ones, but not enough to pay the $$ to change them.

Again, if his XLT was equipped with the BAP option, then it DID have 18" rims. But not 245's.

I hadn’t mentioned “wheels” other than my original post, so I guess I’ll edit that so people don’t keep bringing it up. 🤷‍♂️

Put on my glasses & looked again, my bad it's 225.
